I came into the fold while RCX was at the helm. I remember people talking about the "Horrible Reign of Palin", but I was not around for it. I thought it happened before I joined, and that it was RCX who handed the site over to WarBringer. Then again, I wasn't very cognizant during that span of time after Recon failed. I remember thinking, "WarBringer is in charge? When did that happen? Where'd RCX go? What's going on? Where am I? What happened to my dentures?"

Maplantis merged into SEN years ago. SEN kept the old site archived, which is what you're looking at. Excalibur wanted to revive Maplantis, and many months ago managed to get the founder, Yoshi (aka Tau), to set it all back up again for Excalibur to administrate. A few months after re-opening its doors, Excalibur called it quits and shut the site back down. His closing news post, summarized, said that he didn't want to pay server bills every month so a few people could talk about movies.

lol I just remembered how Puppetz got banned from Worldcrafters for writing "PALIN OWNZ DESLER, GG NO RE" on his avatar, and then me doing the same because I'm highly unoriginal
