Maplantis Closed.

See you on SEN guys.
It's true. http://www.maplantis.org/index.php?topic=3087

My favorite site for modding stuff is closed. My advice: If you want to download anything from it, do it now.

This makes me wonder how hard it is for Lavarinth.

Lav kept the site up even during the darkest days of CC during the time when I joined and the site was down apart from a forum with almost no activity. I believe that if SC2 hadn't been announced that same year the site would have died. But now, hey look at it now, competitions and everything, the site is truly alive.

Excalibur is just an unmotivated individual with too many ideas playing God.

I have one focus.

Yes, alive from what I can see. But Excalibur says that 'there's not activity'. Hmmm....

Sounds like someone I know...

Also, Maplantis died a long time ago. Ex was just grabbing straws since everyone worth their weight jumped ship at SEN as well.

I always thought the name was rediculous.  Other than that, they had some pretty decent elementary mod content if you're into that sort of thing.

"I was once banned but now am admin" - pretty much says it all.  Ah well, another one bites the dust.  Can't help but wonder what CC will look like 2 years from now.

Then again, we've been saying that for at least five years and at most eight.

CC has never had the kind of problems SEN/Maplantis had, even when people like palin had power.

Palin was basically a lazier version of you.  It should come as no surprise that he was also a heretic Canadian, who are world-renowned for their second-only-to-Korean Starcraft skills.
