Book 3 Xu-Chang question SPOILERS

I'm in the dungeon and I can't get the orb of Purification or the Kurumi journal. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to get Ziel to 6 and use Twister Form to fly over there, but I've tried soloing the dungeon with him to get all the XP and there just isn't enough to hit 6 by the time he reaches there. Even if I leave him there and use Kasumi owls to get the final gate unlocked that only puts me at 1800 xp for him. I could hit 6 in the final part of the dungeon if I took him there, but I can't find a way back to the part with the orb once I go through the waygate. What am I supposed to do?

I'm playing Hard btw.

You're supposed to rage in frustration that you can't get it (with what you currently have).

Well, you are not supposed to get that thing in the first playthrough, which is the case with some journal fragments. RazorclawX soft-capped the level, if I remembered correctly.
