my name is hobbes Maximilian Maximus the Third! Actually it's just hobbes, but i needed a more grand name for this intro.
I wanted to stop by and say hi, how's it going, how's your dog and why is there a bottle of lotion on your desk...
So where did the mighty hobbes come from? There was once a volcanic land (vent server) named SC2GGtopia...as of 2011, the volcanoes erupted with such violence that the sc2gg villagers were forced to migrate. Perhaps it's an early warning of what's to come in 2012? Let's start getting our jumbo jets filled with luxury cars ready.
Ok, i tend to go into lengthy tldr posts so let me try and cut the fat out:
- My sc2gg friends and i have joined your vent.
- We hope this will not disturb you guys.
- We are (for the most part) a decent bunch who know and respect rules of the server (except for me...i record just about every embarrassing thing you'll say on vent and play it back at the most random times...oh you should see my library of peepeecaca wavs. MUAHAHAHAHAH)
- 95% of us have sc1 & 2 and LOVE FFAS with no rules (we call it greth's no hunters rules)
- the 5% who don't have have sc2 will frown its existence solely because their computer sucks and they don't own a copy.
- We also enjoy unreal tournament 99, 2004 and 3
- some of us may appear mentally challenged. It is not the case. Some just act stupid, others are incomprehensibly stupid by nature, and a few are just deprived lifeless Canadians (who's a near b- on iccup so i recommended ip banning him!
)IN CONCLUSION:
We didn't pick your server at random. I've been a long time Campaign Creations fan. I still remember when i first found the site, played E.D.A.S.T. for the first time and a few other campaigns, and downloaded the mighty emerald edit!. This was all many years ago, before the site was given the new look.
I found out about your vent server through Honejasi after seeing a youtube video of an ffa played on an sc2 map i made (Asteroid Field...technically a 16 player island map but limited to 15 because of sc2's current limitation)
I recommended to join your server. I also introduced them to your campaigns (we played E.D.A.S.T. synchronously
).I take full responsibility for this pack of morons. Feel free to ask me anything...i got dirt on all of them
