Was hoping -us- implied Campaign Creations, not Archangel and his band of misfit cowboys and their lackeys. Booo!! Hiss hiss.

Is this going to be one of those straight to video DVDs you see on the New Releases shelf? You know, the kind with the over-the-top horror video covers and titles like "Death Haunting" and "Mad Carnival"
That's cool you got to be a part of it. Everyone starts somewhere.

I'm not sure, but I think that wasn't a very nice thing to say.AA7Dragoon wrote: Is this going to be one of those straight to video DVDs you see on the New Releases shelf? You know, the kind with the over-the-top horror video covers and titles like "Death Haunting" and "Mad Carnival"

Anyway, cool pic! The long-haired person is you, right Archangel? I could see you playing some medieval character with that look! The guy standing next to you freaks me out a little bit.

Thanks. Yeah before we shot this, we were working on a medieval period piece, but it got put back for budgeting.
@Dragoon, we have a lot of options with it right now. 8 Films to Die For wants to take a look at it. Lions Gate wants to take a look at it. We have guaranteed distribution in Ireland and the UK and now Germany's asking questions. We're negotiating with a Distro group in Japan so it will be all over the place. As far as theatrical, that's entirely up to Distro. However, the film was shot on the Cineulta, the camera used to film Star Wars 1, 2 & 3, District 9 and a slew of other films. Meaning, it can translate to theatrical resolution just fine. More than likely it will go limited release and then hit the shelves, and you're right: everyone starts somewhere. But most of the money is made in DVD sales. Theatrical is strictly just another part of a film's advertising campaign. This isn't the first film I've done, certainly isn't the first film I'd have been a part of that hit the silver screen, and it won't be the last.

LARP-jokes aside, that is seriously awesome work Archangel. Anyone who says otherwise is jealous. And a Philistine.

No, I didn't mean to be insulting, and I'm glad Archangel didn't take it that way. I was more curious about how the movie is being distributed. It seems to represent a certain release group that you see on the rental store shelves. I've always found those horror titles to be amusing. I'm glad Archangel is pursuing his acting dreams. Who knows where he could be a few years down the road.

I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.
