We've been working hard on releasing more regular episodes of the Campaign Creations Podcast. Now we're giving anyone the opportunity to voice a question that they would like discussed and answered by one or more of the guests in future podcasts.
Simply post a question, comment, or whatever else regarding the podcast here and it will be translated in to the next podcast recording. Don't be vague though, because if the question isn't clear and well voiced we might not be able to answer it.
I love the sudden sense of professionalism the forum has acquired since the release of the beta. Right. Here goes nothing:
Since I don't have a version of beta that offers the online aspect, I was wondering what you guys see to be the most successful, innovative, or otherwise ridiculously cheap strategies that people employ. Any ones that stand out above the rest?

Right now the beta has been reduced to people doing the same stupid cookie cutter shit over and over again. 1hatch Roach, M&M&M, fast robo. That's pretty much the three standard build orders right now and deviating from those can get you raped hard in 1v1. SC2's metagame is very bland right now.
Previous to the nerfs to chrono trigger and gateways, proxy gateways were pretty silly.
Kind of expected no? I mean SC2 is more like Wc3 without heroes and creeps. Imagine that. It's like playing DOTA but only controlling the damn trees and ghouls.
Well, it's not just because it isn't polished or anything like that. It's because of all the huge numbers flying around. Hopefully the game gets a massive rehaul before release.

Wait, what? I completely disagree. Besides the way it looks (slightly), how does it at all resemble WC3?

Podcast 7 has been recorded and will be posted tomorrow night. On Thursday we'll be recording Podcast 8, and so we encourage anyone interested to post some replies here about what they'd like to see answered in the next podcast.
Whatever topic; StarCraft 2 beta, modding, strategies, voice or video are all possible realms. We did a brief classic campaign/ mod update in Podcast 7 because a few people had mentioned wanting it.
So rest assured, we are watching... for questions.
I'd always like to hear some of your favorite strategies. Maybe go around to all the speakers during the podcast and list off some of their favorites or even talk about a couple of their experiences in matches that really stuck out to them.
Also, which unit(s) do you think we will be seeing the most drastic change as the beta goes on? I've noticed a lot of negative feedback about the infestor and was wondering what else people find less useful in multiplayer than other units (considering I don't have multiplayer for my beta version, I can't really explore this myself except for what I see against the ridiculously easy AI).

What are you guys each going to try out first in the editor as your first "test project" to get used to it? What are you most looking forward to being able to do? (may have been answered in a previous podcast; I haven't listened to them all).
Do you think that, with the concept of how powerful a single being can be in the SC universe (xel'naga energy creatures, Ulrezaj, hybrid, etc.), there will be an increase in boss battles in both official and fan-created campaigns for SC2?
This one comes a little late, since the beta has been out for almost a month, but do you think Blizzard waited too long to announce the release of beta? There was only about 2 weeks between the announcement and the actual release. Do you think that they are getting too careful with their ability to predict their release dates? If they announce the release date of the full version of SC2: WoL 2 weeks before it comes out I'll be pissed.
If the mothership were to be removed or moved to campaign-only, do you think that Blizzard should/would replace it with another unit? Should the arbitor make a comeback or do you think they should shoot for something completely new?
If the roach is removed and hydralisk is put back to tier 1.5, what do you think Blizzard's best course of action is for restoring tier 2 yet keeping gameplay fresh and away from feeling like BW?

My previous questions (especially the first two from my last post) would be good ones for this. Seeing as how The Oracle doesn't appear to be a beta player yet(?), I'll go ahead and pose the two big questions on most people's minds:
1. What are your plans, campaign-wise, for SC2? Have you been writing and/or preparing for a new campaign? Any details you can tell us?
2. Do you plan on remaking the project that you started for the 4YB contest in SC2? Despite a lot of the negative hype that surrounded it at the time, I think a lot of people (myself included) were really excited to play it!
If The Oracle is indeed a beta player, let us know. I can come up with plenty more questions.
