You get used to it pretty quickly, but on some sites it's a little annoying to read text. It annoys me and confuses me when I have multiple windows open at once.

I generally prefer to keep the web browser window no wider than what would fit on the screen resolutions of 1280 width. I have no particular preference on height.
By the way, I just checked the image dimensions and found that one is 1236 pixels wide.
