Yet again another Satyr Saturday discussion

So lately, I am considering more and more to scrap the Phoenix Phriday event since lately few people comes on Fridays (or if a majority arrives it's always just in the end) and just keep the Satyr Saturday event that got any real amount of people playing.

I did speak to quite a few common PP/SS players about it already and it seems to lean either in favor or neutral about scrapping it.

Personally, I am in favor since I prefer to have the free time either to do something such making progress in my Loladin Training map or contest testing work. In addition, university-related studies/homework might sometimes take the spot in the future anyway.

While it's very likely that Phoenix Phriday will be gone once again (and might come back yet again depending on future wants/needs) but as usual I do prefer to know any other players' opinions before finalizing any decisions.

And no, I am still not replacing it by a Starcraft event although other people's current or future events can essentially take the Friday spot without any conflicts.

So I declare Phoenix Phriday officially dead (inevitably with nobody speaking about it in this thread). Normally, I would said it at least one or two days earlier but with an exam and homework, it was kind of my last priority of saying to the point that I forgot until *just* now.

So only Satyr Saturday will remain and will start at 8 pm GMT -5 Eastern Zone every Saturday. If usually it would last 4 hours, it might last longer if the players feels like it (especially more likely with Phoenix Phriday gone).

As usual, the meeting server is US West (not US East) and the meeting channel is Clan LLDN.

Ricky, any objections to me moving "starcraft sundays" to friday?  I don't want to go dancing on the grave of pp but sunday is really kinda just terrible for me anymore and I'd like to try to keep the event going. 

I don't mind, I expected that anyway. Plus I believe some SS players might want an indirect Firebat Friday event back but I just don't care about Starcraft enough to seriously lead the FF event again.

Yeah or if we do play, it's probably one or two hours or so which is better to just randomly try to start it during fridays or sundays as a non-official event (mostly as random gatherups).
