Wanderers Of Sorceria- Book 5- Truth of the Heart

I have a problem in the WoS mission "Truth of the Heart" of Book 5. I have no way to get to the bottom half of the map to out run the flood and I've accepted all the boons Hakuto has offered me, so I have no way to knock over trees. What do I do?!

I figured out that the version of Book 5 that was previously available on this site was the older, bugged version of the campaign. I uploaded the most current version here:

Uhhh. Sorry if i'm being rude or anything for my first post, but i'm having the same problem as Morgan, and though i've downloaded the latest file directly from the link above, the problem still persists:

There is no way to blast the trees.
