Astrology = Religion = Self Help Books = Seeing a Therapist
Humans love being told something about themselves, whether that meaning can be quantified or not. One thing most of us seek is a direction in our lives, a road map, a destination, a purpose. Astrology, fortune telling, tarot card reading, therapy, even organized religion are all but little directional indicators on the GPS of life. Pure entertainment or fantasy to some, a science and philosophy to others. Just cause the sign on the freeway says your exit is coming up doesn't mean it actually is. You have to trust that the person who posted that sign knew what they were doing in the first place. Ultimately, anything you --believe-- is the truth. Because - and to use a really tired cliche - truth is in the eye of the beholder.
Then to avoid being shot to death you should just "believe" the bullet away. That's retarded. There is objective fact. You can give me some relativistic nonsense about how we need to make assumptions, and that our assumptions are not necessarily correct. However, the fact is that when we wake up the morning to live our lives, we
have to make the assumptions that the world around us is real and that there is such a thing as objective fact. We need to accept to some degree that the standard rules of logical inference apply. If we choose to reject these basic assumptions and set out on this postmodernist relativist path, we will only be led to dead-end solipsism.

I live in California.

Truth is all that everything is, because truth has no boundaries. Thats why they say, truth is in the eye of the beholder. But if you can learn truth, nothing is everything, everything is something, and something is nothing. Everything is everything. That's why its truth, there is nothing else.
Of course, if you haven't realized the 'truth about truth', this concept may be foreign to you, so I understand your confusion.

I'm pretty sure nothing you just said had any meaning to it.

@Legion: Well you might always have something to every 12 hours, but if you are on the phone with the girl of your dreams you could be convinced to either not do it or just plain forget it.
That said, 12 hours? Wow, you must really have like been on a non-mobile device.

12 hours. 6 hours maybe, but 12 hours. Even on weekends, that seems extremely long.
I think I just don't believe it.
