Ah exactly, see that's why I have a USB Quatafire which is a audio interface, no internal noise. Before stuff goes into my computer it get's digitalized. :) I also have a mixer with a studio mic, now let me tell you mixers only ADD noise, brrr. :)

I've got a USB iMic -- same thing -- combined with an expensive Philips (!!) mic. Still, it produces a little bit of noise, but hey, it's about as close a poor guy can get! :D

Hm I made a mistake, mine is firewire, but yeah it's a cheap way of doing neat stuff. Also a simple noise reduction pass removes almost any noise I would still have, which is environment noise. :)

A condensor mic can be USB Lavvz, so. :)
