Make a Campaign, What do You Prefer?

(Partially related) Although as soon as I'm done with the StarCraft mod I'm working on right now. I'm probably going to move on to WarCraft III or Star Wars: Empire at War Forces of Corruption (MAN that's a long title) mods, depending on how simple or complex Lua scripting really is because Empire at War has a game play style that works better for the mods I want to make.

EaW is very easy to mod, to bad the game sucks ass. It also has many weaknesses that are hardcoded in that causes a lot of problems (not being able to make a completely new race, but being able to make new units very easily is fucking stupid).

Hey.

I am currently working on a Starcraft campaign. I have been working on it for weeks, but I was thinking about throwing it away since nobody's ever going to play it anyway. I have some plans, maybe I'll finish it, maybe I'll wait for Starcraft 2.

I'd say, GO FOR STARCRAFT, because that's my favorite universe.

seeing as blizzard has stated that daggoth (did I spell it correctly? haven't played the campaign in ages) is dead and we have made many campaigns entailing what becomes of daggoth and such, I think it would be cool if we made a campaign based on how he dies along with the other cerebrates

StarCraft! I've wanted to make a WC3 campaign, but I've never really gotten past the 'poking around in WarEdit' stage.

I actually was/am working on a campaign based on that idea (no Daggoth though, a band of Cerebrates of my own trying to find a way to survive without The Overmind while wasting away slowly). Don't know how far I'll get. It's hard working with characters when you know they all die horribly at the end.

I have a campaign currently half way done which everyone knows, it has Cerebrates in it, slowly wasting away (but no one knows) and some of them are against Kerrigan and 'serve' Daggoth, thinking him to be alive which hes dead.

like I said some time ago, I lack the time to make a campaign of my own. Besides, valve is awesome!

You don't lack the time, you just choose to use it to do something else instead of make a Starcraft campaign.

Yet people still make StarCraft campaigns, StarCraft 2 editor is suppose to have some C++ in it for the more advanced map makers.
