Somehow that made the Zerg really uncool.

(of course it's not as if I was going to use Daggoth anymore, anyway)

So much for not using Blizzard characters, not a lot of options.

Kerrigan is SO going to monologue herself to death.

I don't really like this either, I liked the Cerebrates.  But it has given me an idea for a campaign I want to work on for SC1.  Oh, well.  I'll take inspiration from wherever I can get it.

I suspect that something's going to take the place of the Cerebrates, if only to avoid that.  Probably more Infested Terran Telepaths under Kerrigan's Control.  Still, it'll be interesting to see what Kerrigan's Swarm will be like.

Watch everyone's favorite tactic of using defilers/queens to talk actually come around. Lav would flail with joy if defilers were the "new Cerabrates".

Well the defilers and queens are pretty much the smartest zerg so it is a possibility, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kerrigan's experiments to get more infested terrans that could control the zerg went well.

Screw Infested Terrans; that's patently unoriginal and it's like using Evil Terrans with biological enhancements.

We want ZERG.

How bout the Overlords or something, you need them to control your armies.

Yea thats true but overlords are kinda dumb. The only thing they are good for is making 8698 of them and covering up your opponents base. Queens on the other hand, can infest dudes. And Defilers are just freaking awesome.

I suspect Overlords, Queens, and Defilers would stay. Perhaps a new commanding Zerg unit, though, since that is usually the case.

You don't really elect dudes in a hivemind. I tend to think of the swarm as a form of communism, everything is designated at the task that they excel at and they all work together to make the world(s) a perfect place (for Zerg-kind). So this would lead to the 2nd in command being the creature that is best qualified and none of this election crap. That being said, Lav would make a kickass 2nd in command. He would tape infested CCs to each other and go on bombing runs with them :P.
