Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
During auditing my old material I realized I still had 2 other old XXE's on the youtube I never made available. lol
So, I did that, and also uploaded a third old one.
Slowly toying with Gameproc while I gradually verify Civ 5 game 2. Three articles have been added to the site, including a 2015 video processing pipeline thing.

Is there a chance you will re-upload your old Armageddon Onslaught videos?

Which ones are you interested in? The demo videos? I think I have them somewhere. If not I can make new ones.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
I remember you had videos of you playing the mod, showing the enemys you fought and some other misc videos on the subject such as shorts with music (Kamelot). It would be nice to be able to see them again. I tried to get the mod to run but couldn't get it working (might try again at some point).
If you make new once it would be fun to see you and potentially some other people try to beat Armageddon Onslaught.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
Ah yes, the kamelot videos that undoubtedly got censored at some point. Well, I'll have a look around.
AO requires 1.10. So if you aren't on that version it will just puke instead.

When I tried last time I reinstalled BW and downloaded patch 1.10 along with AO. However I was unable to find/launch AO in BW so I assume I messed up at some point.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
OBS can't hook to brood war when it isn't launched via Chaos Launcher, which doesn't work with mods, and breaks hardcore when trying to do window record. I went through hell to get 1.10 to work at all since it appears my DVD drive would rather lock out windows than read a disc.
So I used fraps even though it basically locks up the game competing with BW for maxing out the CPU.
I'm gonna record a little something extra to go with this. I'll surprise you.
AO is an exe that is just run on its own. It will launch starcraft and patch the memory.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
A collection of AO media, being a bunch of the old demo videos and one new one, are now on the Developer Extras portion of the thread. I'll add them to GP sometime in the future.
I wasn't able to locate the gameplay video with the Kamelot music (utub assuredly flagged it which would explain why it isn't in my takeout either), but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
Okay, I'm back after sorting a lot of crap out.
So I've sat thought Lords of Game Testing 2.
Loved graphic rant about specular maps, billboards etc. Again - gaym is a lot what I expected it to be. Liked that though annoyed you still put effort into your casting. One of those reasons I continue to watch your productions. English in not my native, especially to my ear, and I have to say - you are very crisp in your pronunciations most of the time, I get everything you say. And I can't stress enough how important I personally find this. Also - pretty much sign under each word of review yet again - we are of the same mind, kadan.
Keep up the good work, m8. I'm off to watch Dragon's Dogma.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
Yeah a lot of my viewers are European and English isn't their native language, so I must be doing something right (especially given my English is not very good despite being my native language, I struggled to speak properly a lot when I started casting, especially in sc2). It's good to hear it's working out. That means a lot to me as a caster.

Updated OP to reflect current workload.
Got a ton of XXE worthy footage as Schwa wanted to do a run of SR4 and gifted me it so I could join her. Work on divinity continues with hilarious results. Working on Alice and Civ5 game 2 in the background. Steadily grinding away.

Got done watching the new AO video. I enjoyed it quite a bit and will be going through the older videos as well.
I assume that Mal'Ash in AO isn't quite an accurate representation of him in TOA?
