Only the dev series that has been released thus far and maybe the earlier installations. I didn't record anything when making it and I don't even know what I would discuss.

Re: Black Sun: Retribution - The Radioplay
How did you go about naming the races and characters? Did you have any inspiration or was it all something you thought up on your own?
Names like Xy`Kranasha sounds rather exotic.

All of the names are just conjured on the spot.

Why was Haktish so hesitant to use the Khorannarath in the last battle?

The WD showed no signs of being vulnerable to conventional Anahn weapons, and easily bypassed their existing defenses. If the engagement went even slightly awry the flagship and as a result all of their surviving infrastructure and staff would be gone.

Re: Black Sun: Retribution - The Radioplay
This year's end is upon us. Though time marches on, the lessons of the past must never be forgotten. An unsung legacy remains in the shadow of this project. Though the dev series covers much of it, I felt it prudent to bring to the forefront the reality of what was lost at the end of Retribution.
This is the unsung legacy. The sounds and images no one who listens to the audiobook will ever know of. This is the price of failure.

;_;
Despite what you have said I think the audio book option may still hold some promise. It would be a tone of work reading all the lines, editing them and so on. But I think you could pull it off.
Getting voice actors would probably be the biggest issue if you had a hard time to find suitable actors for BSR. Assuming you aren't willing to voice it all on your own and to what length in audio editing you would plan to go. I can see why anything like BSR would require more voice actors, sadly I don't know much of where to obtain voice actors who are willing to work for free.

Re: Black Sun: Retribution - The Radioplay
The audiobook version is already finished. If I were to rebuild the visual one in all likelihood the only further VA that would be required is for the longer visual scenes, and I could do all of that myself very easily.
It's the character models that remain the roadblock.

Just models or animations as well?
I take it you don't want to hire a modeller? From what little I know of freelancers is they can cost quite a bit.

No, I wouldn't hire anyone for anything regardless of project, nor would I trust anyone else to be able to create my vision. The only reason they cost a lot is because indie developers are retarded and pay out the foot for something that takes a few minutes to do, so overpricing is encouraged.
I need models, textures, and some animations, and of a quality you don't see in Western gaming.

Shits tough...
So any more from BSR or TOA is on indefinite hold until these criteria has been achieved then I take it.

yup
I think I am more likely to learn programming before I get even one of those down. And seeing as that is really unlikely... well, yeah. It's all dead.

Would have liked to have been able to do the battles in the UDK... but yeah. No point even trying it without having the other half of the project.
