Lavarinth is a cartographer?

Post by Krazy »

According to Blizzard, since he is now one of the best sources for the "Cartographer's Toolkit" in Diablo 3, used to forge what else, but legendary boots.

Razorclaw is now a source for "Demon's Skin" which is used for the entire Demon's Hide set.

Unfortunately, Iskatu does not seem to be a source for any major legendary crafting material drops. Why no Iskatu love? Probably because waffles.

Hah, I have an entire event and I seem to give a lot of people asspain. That's more than I expected given our history.

Let's see ...

Iskatu is a source of great evil. Thus it might takes everything from the craftmen just to make his source any usable for our legendary heroes rather than for the dark side.

Yep. On my one single playthrough of D3 (Normal-Inferno), I don't think I ever had more trouble than with Iskatu. He's right at the beginning of A4 or something?

I amuse myself when my chat log in Diablo III reads that I killed myself.

Where is Lavarinth anyway? Its hard to miss Iskatu and I spotted Razorclaw, but I don't recall seeing Lavarinth on my playthrough. Did I miss him? Did I speed pass him uncaringly as a I slaughtered my way mercilessly through hordes of demons?

I found him in act 3 while escorting tyrael across the bridge. He's a garbage mob though, you must have just squashed him without a thought. :3

I couldn't stop looking at this screenshot because a few things stood out to me

While we're on the subject, HKS also sent me a screenshot a while ago I found amusing, so here it is with some friendly notes added.

Those screenshot notes are hilarious, Iskatu. I cracked up on the Friends List comment. =o)

This was fun: immortal Terror Demon bug. He was entirely unselectable (note mouse is over monster), and AOE/ minion AI had no effect. He chased me around the entire level.

One thing I just realized is Lav is a Molten Defiler, and his CC avatar used to always be a Zerg Defiler. I wonder if the title was intentional or coincidental. Shitting fire must've been intentional, though.

They are all aware the only reason I use this avatar is because they haven't modelled a Defiler portrait yet.
