I believe they'll have a range of where the nydus worms can pop out of, because if so, wow everyone would play the Zerg. In the first gameplay with the Stalkers, those Dark Templar units I believe its the name, when they were blinking around the Nydus worms popped out of the ground, so I dont think its the creep.

According to this...
Q: Any new information on the Nydus Worm?
A: The Nydus worm can pop up anywhere.. it doesn’t have to be on creep. But it works like the ghost nuke, you place a beacon and a few seconds later it pops up.
IMO this doesn't make much sense (what places beacons anyway? Overlords?).

Any and all super units should be solely used in a single player setting, where they'd make more sense and wouldn't interfere with balance.
Now with 50% more lol, 50% more win, and 100% phlail.

Well yeah, that's the campaign and doesn't really effect the game overall. In MP, the mothership as it was was quite possibly the stupidest idea I've ever seen blizzard pull out of their ass. Black hole was absolutely retarded and the ship could rape just about everything else with its normal attack alone.

I mean, I can't imagine anything more satisfying than just popping a couple of those behind enemy lines and watching the carnage. Unless you need to pop them on creep, which would make changing the name kind of pointless.
Based on like the first video that was released I'm pretty sure they don't need to be on creep, the thing pretty much was all like LOLSUPGIEZ in the middle of nowhere.

Did no one notice the nydus worm being attacked? It could most likely be killed before it starts releasing units, just like the nydus canal.

Yeah, but having a ton of zerglings magically appear around your command center is never a good thing.

Having a bunch of stalkers blink in or a droppod of marines fly in wouldn't be that nice either ;)
Marine 382BB wrote:I hope they change it back to only one per map. With the black hole make it limit to how many it can suck (that is a wierd sentence), but i know then that changes all science because a black hole sucks ALL around it. but then it would be no fair because it can such an ENTIRE army instantly, and thats no far.
hehe I meant to suck less units than it had been before by way of it being given a smaller radius of effect, not restricting it to an absolute number of units =)

The Torrasque!!!

Does everyone remember that Brood War mission?  I've faced many hard obstacles, but the Torrasque was the only thing that scared the crap out of me the moment I heard its roar and the crazy SOB running towards my bunkers.
I have seen the Desler.  I have tasted of his milk and honey.

I replayed those campaigns recently. Immediate tech to Battlecruisers > Torrasque, not to mention Cerebrates.

The last Terran Mission, "To Chain the Beast".  There's also a Torrasque in The Enslavers, that bonus campaign that came with original SC (and the first time a reincarnating Torrasque ever appeared).

Mothership is on the site. I like the voicing.
Hello, mother leopard.
I have your cub.
You must protect her,
But that will be expensive...
10,000 kola nuts,
Wrapped in brown paper...
Midnight, behind the box
I'll be the hyena, you'll see.
