Just curious of what you thought of it.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
Nothing to think about. The alternate ending doesn't give the game any substance. It's still a prototype alpha at best. Let's hope Dark Souls 2 at least enters beta stages.

On another note, what do you think about pre-animated death´s vs ragdolls?
Pre-animated as in they stager, stumble, fall in animated patterns and then can not be interacted with or may be interacted with to a small degree.

I haven't seen many companies rig ragdolls properly yet. But you can't rely on them exclusively anyways.

Combination of both is the best. The euphoria physics engine used in GTA4/Max Payne 3 uses a combination of both and it's fantastic.ArcCain wrote:On another note, what do you think about pre-animated death´s vs ragdolls?

If I remember correctly I think Killzone 2 used mostly pre-animated deaths.

A 50 minute second episode of the League series has been released. This is a XXE-style hackup of casts of both community games and first person games, featuring appearances from a wide variety of characters and silliness.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
May has been a dead month as far as activity is concerned, as to be expected. I would have liked to continue DMC3 but I have yet to be awake enough to cast anything properly. I guess the whole exhaustion thing is really never going to go away.
However, I think I finally have OBS working with vegas. I can get into casting by remaking those AoW2 videos I had made and couldn't encode if that is the case. Needs more testing to be sure.

A new AWP has been released. Production on Retribution is my top priority now. I hope to get the energy to cast again soon, but we'll have to see what happens. I want to get DMC3 done ASAP but I am not going to rush it.

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
I have those backed up but I don't know if the drive crash nuked the audio or not. In either case, I needed to transcode the entire set and inject keyframes into them. I am not quite sure how I am going to do that, which is why I haven't gotten around to it for so long. I haven't forgotten, though!

Re: LP Update/Comment Thread
Mucky's replays were definitely the more entertaining of the lot by far.
