Trouble loading maps

Ok I installed my game onto windows 7 64-bit. I do NOT have admin rights. I figured out to get around the mis colors by turning off explorer.exe. When I load up the game and try to play some custom scenerios, and these are official ones from Blizzard itself, many of them say they are invalid and unreadable. Any idea why this is and how to fix it? I mainly want to play Deception and Mercenaries II since they are canon

If you are running no mods and a legit copy of StarCraft, I don't see why any errors would occur. Have you tried redownloading the maps, perhaps they were corrupted mid-download?

yeah I redownloaded them 3 times AND some of the maps that were installed with the game are saying the same thing

I have trouble believing this is relative to admin rights in the end, or explorer.exe, but have you tried with explorer.exe open?

Have you also tried reinstalling the game?

When I do it with explorer open I get the mis colored stuff (And yes I've tried the whole "Open with screen resolution open" and that never worked. And I stated all those things earlier just to state that the game itself is working fine. As for uninstalling/reinstalling no I have not but I'd rather not since, like I said, I don't have admit right so to reinstall it would require it and do not have the password

With explorer open, do the maps load? I assume they don't but I feel like I might as well ask.

nope same thing just with crapier colors

ok I figured it out, the zipfile from the starcraft maps collection WAS incomplete. I'll try to get a proper download
