I do feel whatever release date announcements a bit premature considering how even the melee situation (excluding the custom map scene for now) seems still far from being truly solved with the beta HotS. Just some bandaids there and there.

Then again, some would have sworn that HotS would have been released for Christmas.

I originally predicted that Heart of the Swarm wouldn've been out June or July this year, so I was way off.

Still surprised that they didn't go for a November/Christmas release though. If they had a WoW expansion coming out this year, I'd have expected that to have taken precedence and get the Christmas release date, but that's really not the case here.

Ricky > It will only be a band-aid anyways because LoTV will still entirely change everything related to the meta. The game is so unstable as it is, that until LoTV comes out +1-2 years, the melee situation will never be dependably balanced.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised the 'super unit' is the Torrasque.

You're still hoping Blizzard will balance things one day!? Now I'm shocked.

Serious, I keep no hope on that, I'm just buying it to see the damage extension to the campaign, see if they can go BEYOND the damage in WoL (A feat I doubt Blizzard will perform, as they'll "try" to fix everything, haha).

Oh, and I'm intended to LP it!

From what I understand, the game is "balanced" to a respectable degree given the fact that blizzard doesn't actively try to balance it, just that it's an incredibly boring game to watch/play and players are dropping it in droves for LoL or Dota2.
