Regarding The Gallantry grp files

Are the graphics in The Gallantry now free to use? Would I have to ask Desler or someone else, and if so, could someone direct me to who to ask?

Looks like a Species ship from star trek. That's probably where it's from. Almost looks like it has been rendered with perspective on.

Even if you can't get the Gallantry grp, would be easy for you to render your own.

After seeing the proportions of the real thing I would say the Gallantry grp was rendered with perspective on. You don't want that. Rule #1 of rendering for a sprite game is to turn off perspective. Would look very out of place.

Hmm, alright.

I'm not sure if it's worth all the trouble learning how to render to make the same ship. I'll see if I can use this one, but if it does come down to learning how to render, I'll try to make something unique.

You bring up a valid question, however. I am unsure of the creator, I assume it was either during Desler's early days of model-tinkering or Joel's handywork. Both can still be contacted to this day.

Joel visited the forum sporadically every few months here, while Desler is active on Facebook.
