Anything shy of "the editor just sucks" to explain why I'm pulling my hair out with these damned chain link fence doodads?
I can't seem to find the hot-key or function to rotate the doodads and free-form rotation just results in tedious arrangements to get the things to line up properly. And sometimes it's just damn near impossible.
Ideas?

You got to set it to Can Rotate in the actor's tab at the data editor. It should be checked by default.
While on the terrain editor, while having the fence selected, press ctrl and right click to desired rotation.

What Gna said, or you can also disable rotation to place objects more organized and after just open the properties of the doodad to manually enter the degrees.
