Phase 2/Campaign music

Post by IskatuMesk »

Here's what I am to presume to be most of the music that will be in the game's music at least campaign-wise. No, no spoilers in the titles from what I can tell.

Meanwhile all of the zerg sounds are 0kb except for the lurker who still sounds generic and fucking terrible.

Phase 2 patch also seems to have data for all AI difficulties (I'll definitely be trying it when the server comes back if so).

New UI sounds and such.

Some UI elements are blue instead of green (yay) and a lot more graphics options are saying "Ultra" now.

Code: Select all

I am uploading it in ogg, unchanged from its ingame format (straight rip). If you're a regular music listener you're using winamp/foobar and already have an ogg plugin. If not, a simple google search will yield it.

if you're using itunes I will personally strangle you.

Winamp is a corpse that has been bobbing in the water for quite a time.
No more humans, please.

How so? With OpenAL winamp never goes past 0% cpu usage. The only thing I don't like about Winamp is the fact it randomly freaks out with short files and locks up windows for around 5-20 minutes depending how fast I am in willing it. So I use mpc for those.

Winamp was always problematic for me, it does too much for me too, all i need is a player that can handle playlists. Hence I use MPC.
I prefer lighter software.

That about sums it up for me.  I used to use iTunes.  About six years ago.  Now I use foobar.  Also, I HATE Windows Media Player.  I mean, I guess it should be obvious not to use that ever.  But I thought "Hey, Windows 7, new library features and cool stuff, maybe I'll try it out."  So I did.  And then Windows Media Player starts reorganizing all of my music, and screwing up my album information, and starts applying random album art to random songs, and it just got me all pissed off.  Ugh.  One thing I don't like about foobar, is that there doesn't seem to be a way to set album art.  So I've been stuck with the mixed up ones since then :(
