I grilled some chicken. Ok, lots of chicken. Buddy and his GF brought some amazing steak.
I'm something of a cook/grillmaster, so I just made up a chicken marinade on the spot and it was amazing.

Re: Happy 4th!
You know, I never actually had Tube Steak. What is it, steak in a tube? I know its a euphemism, but its also a real thing right? Ah, but I received a last minute invite out this year to a BBQ, I ate the usual suspects and discussed love betrayed mostly. A tricky topic. One show of fireworks for the night but it was a nice one. These girls monopolized the conversation and we spent an hour discussing Twilight. It wasn't that annoying, it was actually like watching a stereotype unfold. I was also quite inspired, I got to talk with my roommate (who invited me) and it turns out she is a fellow artist who has seemed to walk a similar path as me. She loves to analyze people too, though I'm almost jealous, she seems to do it better than I do seemingly.
