BTW, they just released some new content. The best part is the video(slideshow) basically recapping the Terran campaign in the original SC.

I think it might be because of the following :

1) There is always some major B.net 2 issues when there is a major patch (it happened for the Editor patch for like 1 week straight) and it is happening right now (can't join/create games for shit).

2) From bad decision to bad decision from Blizzard, it does give less and less expectations and anticipation towards SC2.

3) This patch screw up lots of map data made via the Data Editor making people very annoyed or just give up mapmaking. That's especially if weeks of work can suddenly go poof when Blizzard was supposed to keep a relative map compatibility inside the beta and into the release of SC2.

I always thought something might happen like this after release.  Or during the transitions from Wings of Liberty to the other SC2 games.  I'm surprised it is already happening in beta though.  I really hope they stay on top of stuff like this.  I really don't want to be spending a lot of time patching maps.

Would a downgrader like the one people use for SC1 not fix that problem? This isn't drastically different from old SC1 campaigns having a version dependency.
