So long as we're on the subject of 90's cartoons, I miss Mutant League...

And on the subject of cancellations, I wish they'd have finished Pirates of Dark Water.

Tangents ahoy!

I hope you didn't think the ending was when you fall into the fire ;)
Don't worry. I got past that part.  :)

I refuse to believe that
Spoiler
The implosion
was that huge since a) you fought only GLADOS b) You can not destroy a few buildings by burning a few parts of a mainframe (only a blackout would happen for a single building, if you did that) and c) we are told that GLADOS CONTROLLED the complex, but nothing was hinted that she was now APART of it, or vice versa. I might be swinging at nothing, though, since Science-Fiction has created science without research.
Who knows what is powering that place? Given the statements GlaDOS makes about the outside world and developers hinting at a tie-in with Half-Life's universe, we can safely assume it is a self-contained power source. What level of maintainence and management would such a generator need? What powers the Portal gun, for that matter? If the wrong control command went through due to corruption, a feedback loop, or loss of code blocks, could that power source generate the phenomenon we witnessed? We are talking about a place that has a handheld gun that can make transdimensional portals.

Oh man, Mutant League. I rememer I loved/hated that show. Since that cartoon aired on WB channel here on sundays, rather than Freakazoid and shit, I was always pissed. Thankfully there was Rocko's Modern Life on Nickelodeon around the same hour.

Ah Drums, you know precisely how to appeal to me.  That was the show I didn't miss.  Shame it didn't last.  I'm amazed they were still showing it when all you guys were kids though.  At the very least, I'm sure most of you probably never saw the original Transformers G1 cartoon, at least, not on TV.
