Cool, that seals it. I'm the real ghost/detective, scanned lavarinth last night and got a positive. So it is without a doubt a lavarinth/laconius team, since laconius is now misrepresenting his role.

Well this is annoying. One of you is obviously lying.
Why didnt you say it before, Krazy?
I will now reveal that i am the Marine, and i randomly protected Lavarinth last night. What really confuses me is if Laconius is the actual ghost because he guessed my role, or if he simply got lucky.
And why did Laconius wink at me?

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
I admit, I am not the real Ghost. I did it to see if the real one would fess up and admit his role (if he was still alive). Since that worked, I think it's best if Black Dream protects Krazy this coming night. It's undeniable that either I or Black will be assassinated.
As for me, I am a regular crewman. In order to debuff the theory that I am Lav's sidekick, my current notion is to lynch Lavarinth. If all goes well and Krazy is still alive tomorrow, then you can scan AA7. If he is innocent, then that will leave me as the primary suspect. I realize that because of my lie, I've lost credibility. But since we have a definite lead on who one of the killers is, we might as well lynch him first.
What do you guys think?

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Wow, this was easier than I thought.
Krazy is lying about his role, and Laconius is his accomplice.
Let me explain Krazy's guilt by the things he has posted:
Quotes from Krazy:
"I would not kill sks so early if only because I haven't really gotten to play with them that much yet."
"Precisely, I would whack someone I haven't played with before, so if I was mafia I probably would have whacked you or lavarinth first.
When I asked him how this made no sense, the very next post Krazy claims he is the real Ghost and scanned Lavarinth. This is after Laconius poses as a Ghost. He claimed by faking the role, it would reveal the real Detective. So how convenient Krazy suddenly shifts gears, claims he was the real Detective, and accuses Lavarinth of being guilty. Then this allows Laconius to pull back his claim, believe Krazy, and suggest "let's all lynch Lavarinth."
It was a mistake for Black Dream to reveal his role as the Marine. Now they know who to target tonight. Since there's no point to maintain secrecy, I might as well reveal my role:
I am the real Ghost. I investigated Krazy last night and he came up as an Umojan Infiltrator, hence why I have been trying to point out to everyone his misleading quotes that make no sense. Krazy has been fabricating his words from the very beginning. Since there's a 50/50 chance either Krazy and I are the real Ghost, at least take his contradictions into consideration when I have been consistent this whole time so far.
The moment I read Laconius' post, I knew something was up. Once Krazy posted his claim, and then Laconius immediately agreed with him, that sealed the deal. Since I already knew Krazy was guilty, Laconius' absolute faith in Krazy's role claim and to vote for his suggested lynch, is damning.
If Laconius really was innocent, he would have at least questioned Krazy first before believing him. You don't just believe anyone who comes out as a detective unless you're absolutely sure.
Regardless, Laconius is guilty by process of elimination. If Krazy came out and said Lavarinth was his suspected target, then Lavarinth must be innocent based on my investigation of Krazy. If I'm the detective and Black Dream is the marine, then that leaves Laconius to be the only accomplice left.
I vote to lynch Krazy.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Black Dream, you are the deciding factor in all of this. In the direction this pans out, I presume the following conflicts will wind up as such:
Lavarinth + AA7 Versus Krazy + Myself
Although there are suspicious individuals from each side, I'd like you to focus on the fact that if we lynch one innocent tonight, then it is game over for our side because 2 innocents versus 2 killers will result in the killers winning.
Question to Black Dream: Don't you think that it would have been more suspicious if, during my Ghost impersonation, I framed someone for being a killer? Yet, I took a chance with you and claimed that you were innocent because I truly believed you were. I did this in order to gain support from a potential team member. Hence, would you be willing to return the show of good faith by helping your teammates win this battle? All you have to do is support the vote of Krazy and myself to lynch Lavarinth, and also protect Krazy from assassination. If you end up being assassinated yourself, I promise you that your death will not be in vain.
To Krazy: If you are speaking the truth about your Ghost scan on Lavarinth, then I assume you will vote to lynch nobody else but him. If so, you have my supporting vote to do so. Afterwards, you can do another scan on AA7, assuming Black Dream is willing to shield you from assassination. Then we can determine who the remaining killer is. (Assuming your suspicions of me have faded by then.)
I will abstain from voting until Krazy posts his.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
My posts were deliberately provocative since I was trying to identify who Lavarinth's partner was, which led to productive results. Obviously, whoever defended Lavarinth (or pretended to be the ghost) would be a great candidate for Lavarinth's partner. At first that seemed to be Laconius, and honestly I still don't really see his rationale for pretending to be the ghost other than just to get the game going. And after Laconius's weird shenanigans, I too am tempted to go with the person I really know is the infiltrator.
So Vote Lavarinth.
But right now it's looking like a Lavarinth/AA7 team.
AA7, I like that you waited until Laconius had admitted he wasn't the real ghost to claim that you were one. Of course, killing SKS perfectly fits your profile anyway since, as you said in the last game, you basically adhere to the same philosophy of me that you wouldn't kill someone you hadn't played with before. So you would have killed SKS, Lavarinth, or me. Since Lavarinth is your partner, he's out, and you've only played one game with me. SKS was the best choice for you as an infiltrator.
Honestly AA7 you would have had a better chance sitting in the background, if they lynch me tonight and see I'm the real Ghost then there will be no doubt in anyone's mind that you and Lavarinth are the real infiltrators. You would have had better luck sitting in the background and staying out of the limelight. Now you and Lavarinth are paired.
So Vote Lavarinth.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
You guys are quite excited to eliminate me quickly with the minimal of words coming from me. Anyway, you shouldn't have any more issues to determine any of this. Of course, I was guilty. I had to do it. It was Saint Kerrigan. It's like habit, and I apologize. My partner somewhat jumped the gun very early on, only to later try to cover himself up and become a bandwagon member, but all's well. Give him my regards for stabbing me in the back. I will abstain from voting.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
If it is the killers' intent to win, you would never realistically reveal that you were back-stabbed by an ally. You would just remain silent and let him/her take care of the rest so that your team wins. Hence, I believe this is a failed attempt at trying to re-direct suspicion upon an innocent.Lavarinth wrote: My partner somewhat jumped the gun very early on, only to later try to cover himself up and become a bandwagon member, but all's well. Since AA7 is the one who has defended Lavarinth this whole time, and with Lav confessing to being one of the killers...

He threw in the towel and confirmed AA7 is not telling the truth (since I am the real ghost) which makes him almost certainly Lavarinth's ally. But that will be proven soon enough. Lynch lav today, protect me tonight and I scan AA7, then we (most likely) end the game tomorrow.

I AM SO CONFUSED!
I have difficulty believing AA7, or Laconius, or Krazy.
Since its either AA7/Lavarinth or Laconius/Krazy...
Lynch Lavarinth
I really hope i didnt just doom us all.
...and how did you figure this out if i had only pointed out a lack on infomation?Laconius wrote: Question to Black Dream: Don't you think that it would have been more suspicious if, during my Ghost impersonation, I framed someone for being a killer? Lavarinth is hauled a way by a pair of security guards and thrown into the airlock. The inner doors are sealed and the outer doors open and Lavarinth is blown out of the ship and into space.
Lavarinth dies due to explosive decompression.
NIGHTFALLS. PM me your night actions.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Krazy put his change into the vending machine, and out popped a sandwich. He picked up his meal and went to the nearby table in the Cartier’s cafeteria, unwrapped his sandwich and prepared to take a bite.
Above him, hidden in the shadows of balcony overlooking the cafeteria, a Umojan Infiltrator watched Krazy through the scope of his sniper rifle. His finger on the trigger, he was ready to take a shot.
Krazy opened his mouth and prepared to take a bite from the sandwich, when a marine burst into the cafeteria and knocked Krazy out of the way. The sniper’s bullet pinged harmlessly off the marine’s armour.
The marine quickly took aim with his gauss rifle and fired a quick burst in the Infiltrator’s direction. The infiltrator cursed as he scurried away, activating his cloaking device and vanishing.
“Thanks.” said Krazy as he got up from the cafeteria floor and picked up his sandwich. Krazy opened his mouth and prepared to take a bite from the sandwich.
“NO!” cried the marine as he slapped the sandwich out of Krazy’s hands, sending it flying across the cafeteria, “The bullet was a distraction, that sandwich was poisoned!”
The Infiltrators attempted to kill Krazy with a poisonous sandwich but were foiled by a Marine!
