Where'd all of the players from the previous game go, anyway?
As the size of the explosion increases, the number of social situations it can not solve approaches zero.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (Night 1)
Chief Engineer Saint Kerrigan cautiously climbed down the ladder into the lower decks. Somewhere down here was a malfunctioning power conduit that was playing havoc with the temperature on Deck 3 and he had no intention of resting before he got that fixed.
Saint Kerrigan soon located the malfunctioning power conduit. Putting his tool box down on the floor, Saint Kerrigan opened the panel to access the conduit, which was when the power suddenly failed.
He fumbled through his toolbox in the darkness, searching for his flashlight when he heard footsteps echoing through the corridor. The new arrival was just around the corner. Fearing the worst, Saint Kerrigan frantically searched for the pistol he had stashed away at the bottom of his toolbox instead. Before he could do so, the new arrival came around the corner. There was a click and Saint Kerrigan found himself blinded the figure’s bright flashlight.
“Oh. It’s you.” said the figure.
There was a second click as the figure turned off his flashlight and approached Saint Kerrigan.
“Here.” said the figure, offering Saint Kerrigan his flashlight.
“Thanks.” replied Saint Kerrigan as he took the flashlight. He turned it on to get a better look at the new arrival.
“Oh no.” muttered Saint Kerrigan when he noticed that the new arrival’s uniform was Umojan aqua-coloured instead of Dominion red.
SAINT KERRIGAN WAS KILLED BY AN EXPLODING FLASHLIGHT BOMB
DAYBREAKS. Discuss.

Ghosts kill people with flashlights now? What's next, a nuclear missile stuffed inside a burrito? :P

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Seems odd for sks to die so early two games in a row. I would not kill sks so early if only because I haven't really gotten to play with them that much yet. Since it is statistically probable that at least one of the umojans was someone from last game, I'm wondering that the rationale AA7 or Lavarinth have for what they would do to SKs this early in the game.

We dont have much to go on. One kill and few roles provides little information.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
This struck out as odd to me, Krazy. Why would you say you wouldn't kill Saint Kerrigan early in the game because you haven't "really gotten to play with" him? You haven't really played much with everyone, and some of the others you haven't played with at all. Care to explain yourself here?Krazy wrote: Seems odd for sks to die so early two games in a row. Precisely, I would whack someone I haven't played with before, so if I was mafia I probably would have whacked you or lavarinth first. Still, you didn't really answer the question -- do you think there's any reason you would or wouldn't whack sks?

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
That doesn't make sense, Krazy. You just said you'd kill someone you haven't played with before, then said you would have killed Lavarinth or myself, even though you have played with us? You're basically saying a lot of nonsense and trying to play it off as thoughtful.
My rationale for Saint Kerrigan's death? He got hit like anyone else. The only link I can think of is his infamous relationship with Lavarinth. However, in the last game, SK was killed the second night and Lavarinth turned out to be innocent. It could go either way.
Like Black Dream said, there isn't a lot of information to go on. Except your behavior.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Such supreme development over the last day. And here I thought my absence would cause people to call me out, (I wasn't around,) but looks like I have a chance to butt into the beginning of this mystery.
Well, Saint Kerrigan is dead yes, and standard behavior due to previous games would dictate "Lavarinth did it!" as was once and only once true due to my prior extreme distaste for the character. However, that's all come and gone now. Krazy, your move into a sort of leadership role is calming, honestly. I enjoy the distance you're taking to out AA7, though keep in mind AA7's weak point is to fumble on his own words when under pressure.
Black Dream hasn't had much to say, now has Laconius. I'm curious as to just a random shout out as to who either of you think would perform this murder, doesn't have to be both your suspects (or more), but at least one would suffice.

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Wait, what the shit? I didn't get a chance to count at first but there's only THREE innocents left? Oh Jesus.
In that case, I'll come out and reveal my role as the Ghost of the crew. I scanned Black Dream the first night and found him to be an innocent, so that's that. (I will not reveal his unit, unless he chooses to do so himself.)
If the marine is still alive, I'd ask that you please protect me this coming night so that I can do another scan. If the marine is already dead, then it's obvious that I will be the next target that is assassinated. (or Black Dream, if the killers decide to be retarded)
Also, to Black Dream and Lavarinth: *wink*

Re: MAFIA: Terran Mafia (DAY 1)
Hmm. We have no way to determine if Laconius is telling the truth.
If he dies tonight and he is the ghost, we just lost a valuable ally, and he isnt the killer.
If someone attempts to kill him and the marine saves him, we know he isnt the killer.
If he DOESNT get attacked, it seems likely that he is the killer, but the killer could have read this message and purposely killed someone else.
By saying this, i think that the killer will kill someone else, and the marine should protect someone random instead.
