haha, that is funny.
Yes, remember though about the soul hunters the stuff is "subject" to change.
Also, ya the three templar thing, what the hell? I'm suprised he didnt correct him, or atleast correct him by showing him gameplay of the original of two templars NOT 3.

I'm not totally pissed, I realized that he made the mistake, but he should of caught himself or the other guy should of caught him saying it takes THREE templar to make an archon instead of TWO.

I think the other guy was too busy killing himself laughing to intervene.

Probably just killing himself, with the edge of a wooden desk.

I'm clutching at straws here but the only other explanation I can think of for what he said is that he always selected 3 high templars and then never noticed that the last guy just futzed around not doing anything. Pretty far out there though. Maybe he wanted to throw all his years of experience away so he could  look like an idiot.

This is ridiculous; this is the same as how people freaked-out when Pardo said there wasn't a flight point in Un'goro Crater when there clearly is one now (as of the time he made the statement).

The only thing that makes me worried is the soul hunters. I don't see how they fit in a Starcraft setting, or even a Warcraft setting. I think someone in the team has been watching too much Ghostbusters.

I never saw a flight point on my hunter...

Lav, I agree with you. I saw your post on the SC forum. This wasn't a simple flub like not knowing a flight point in WoW (which is enormously complex). The merging of Archons is an integral part of Starcraft strategy. It's like not knowing how Bloodlust works, or what a Scarab is. I think the real question is what else doesn't he know about Starcraft?

Still, my main point of contention with Blizzard continues to be their fan relations. The official forum is a joke; half the time it's unreadable because of spammers, the other half it's full of worthless eleven-year-olds who think updates about the Alt button are absolutely illuminating. I haven't regularly checked on a Blizzard forum since the Frozen Throne beta, when the forum mod got canned for giving beta keys to her favorite sycophants. The latest Frozen Throne patch itself was a joke; they had a 19-page patch suggestion thread and 1.21 had exactly 0 balance changes. I get the feeling that ever since Roper left they couldn't give a damn about the fans.

Not to sound bitter; they put out great games, but they're really behind in the PR department.
