Re: MAFIA: Sanctuary - DAY One
as far as i can see lav and aa7 are acting exactly like they usually do. lavarinth, whether guilty or innocent always acts pretty much exactly like this. it gets him lynched pretty much every game, but occasionally it works to his advantage.
as for aa7, pretty much every time someone "new" is playing he comes out and says "i'd never kill them it's unfair" etc and as far as i can remember he's never been guilty in those situations. more than once i've spoken about my problems with this, my big problem being that if we believe that then if one game he decides to kill someone newer and we completely rule him out, he coasts along to an easy victory.
i'm hoping this post is helpful for krazy and aiurs, there isn't really much else to talk about at the moment so i figured i'd try to make things a little clearer for them at least.
i'm beginning to appreciate mac/aek/mucky's willingness to stir things up

Yeah, the game does seem a bit static at the moment.
Seems I was right about what I thought AA7 was saying. You guys just misinterpreted his statement.
Hm, maybe this would get the ball rolling: what about something like a MASS CLASS CLAIM?

@AA7: Alright, I see what you're getting at. I still think that your argument for Mill's innocence is weak, but at least I know where you're coming from with it.
@Milldawg: Everyone reveal their role and who they targetted last night? In a normal game, that'd be a terrible idea, but here it's probably a good idea. I'll support it. Care to actually kick that ball, Milldawg and get it started?

Re: MAFIA: Sanctuary - DAY One
Very well...
I'm a Necromancer - indeed, the one who Decrepified Thalraxal last night. I had a 1/4 shot of either nabbing the killer or hindering his ally, and if not, then I figured I probably wouldn't be hurting the town TOO much if I hit an innocent. There's a 2/5 chance that you're a Barbarian or Necromancer, in which case hindering you wouldn't really be that big of a deal anyway. I figured it was worth taking the chance. Don't be too mad at me
Unless you're Possessed, in which case SHOW ME YOUR RAAAGE

Re: MAFIA: Sanctuary - DAY One
Like I said before, there's plenty of good reasons for a good necromancer to target me. Unfortunately for both of us...
I'm a Sorceress. I attempted to scan Lavarinth last night, but was thwarted by Necromancer Milldawg. Thanks, Mill.

Re: MAFIA: Sanctuary - DAY One
anything to break us out of this torpor i guess
i am a barbarian but i did not use my role last night. as milldawg has illustrated, randomly using abilities that can hurt the good guys with absolutely nothing to go off of is not a great idea. considering the nature of my role, and the possibility of multiple barbarians bashing multiple innocents, i decided not to use my bash.

I don't know if this is good or bad, but revealing roles basically guarantees all Sorceress to have a successful cast, not sure if that's overpowered or not.

That's why this is a test game! Also, it only works if everyone tells the truth
Oopyman> So I guess that means there are two (or more) Barbarians, assuming you're telling the truth - you, and whoever bashed Krazy. Also... are you implying that my actions were irresponsible?

not really, i don't blame you and getting a sorc is pretty unlucky. i'm just saying i thought that blindly bashing someone could turn out badly for the good guys and i'm glad i didn't do itMilldawg wrote: That's why this is a test game! Also, it only works if everyone tells the truth

Bashing a Sorceress isn't the concern. A Necromancer using his ability on one is.Murdermasterx wrote:not really, i don't blame you and getting a sorc is pretty unlucky. i'm just saying i thought that blindly bashing someone could turn out badly for the good guys and i'm glad i didn't do itMilldawg wrote: That's why this is a test game! Lav, why aren't you going along with the massclaim?
I'm an Amazon. Last night I targeted Krazy. I saw Aiurs visit him and I saw Krazy visit Lavarinth. That makes Aiurs a Barbarian (being the only one I saw target Krazy), and is also the true reason why I said Krazy and Aiurs couldn't be on the same Possessed team, as neither of them performed a nightkill.

Necromancer, targeted Lavarinth. That's (in addition to his aggressiveness) why I knew he wasn't the killer last night, since he got decrepified. Doesn't mean he's not possessed (partly what I've been trying to figure out), but it does mean he didn't do the kill. We have no paladins? :/

That's why. I'm a Sorceress. Obviously, my attempt to Scan someone failed.Krazy wrote:Necromancer, targeted Lavarinth.
