Well, that definitely was quite the... Small taste. One thing you must be aware when creating a campaign is that although tutorial maps are a marvelous things for newcomers, all players of campaigns likely played the original and are well aware of how to build units, I'd suggest added some pazzaz.

It wasn't a tutorial, it was more of a "introduction." I wanted you know that the Protoss Stalker would be replacing the Dragoon, it was like a comment, not a tutorial. I hope it was at least satisfying to know that I do have SOME sort of story and good dialogue and such, if I am wrong, please correct me.

I was so fucking pumped for this that I just HAD to record my first playthrough of what will surely become a legendary campaign in this community. I knew that after all these years of intense labor that you were to become my champion. My salvation.

OMG! Mesky... [imgwh 15x15]http://starcraft2.ingame.de/forum/image ... /rotfl.gif[/imgwh]

These are the LOL quotes of this month:

@Topic:
Creating a interesting demo level for a campaign introduction is much more than set a scenario with such objectives and such a terrain design... Don't misunderstand me! I don't wanna to discourage you! I have understood, that this map should be only a demonstration. But hopefully your other levels don't have the same type of terrain and gameplay design.

Do you have seen what was happening in IskatuMesks demonstration? He was so f.... bored, that he has destroy the starting point. This should show you that you have made a little bit wrong. Such a kind of level design generated way too much idling.

And why you have used such a big map, from which you actually used only ten percent? Creating dead space is not so advisable, because something like this takes a scenario the wholeheartedness... For example, look at the original Blizzard levels. Is there one map with such objectives and such a big map size? No. This demo you've showed us here is typical 64x64 map.

5000 minerals for what? For fighting against Kakaru's? Your map needs urgent a little bit thrill, in other words fill the idle phases in your map with life and something to do OR explore for the player.

Sorry, but you have to prove this statement first, yet.

Fighter84, I suggest you play through a couple of campaigns from Campaign Creations to get an understanding of what it is to not be idled, in other words always have something going on. You definitely do not want to bore the player to do what Isk did, because in my experience, instead of killing critters- I quit. Examples of what you could of done:

- Constant onslaught of Zerg invading small encampment.
- Don't make players suffer with design flaws: We have to mine with only 3 probes because you started us with 400 minerals. Perhaps enough minerals to make the Nexus and two Pylons would of greatly aided in preventing Isk's boredom.
- Beautify the map, no question about that.
- Explain. You had a great intro, but what were random Zealots doing in a stretch of land and why did they really have to setup a small base in a Zerg inhabited area.

Thank you for the help, I will try some campaigns and make sure my campaign will be AWESOME.

Message to Isk - I am very glad(once again im saying this) that you think I am your "champion" The campaign will be glorious, and I want all of you to know that. Don't doubt it, don't say it won't be good, it will be good. And I hope to get Campaign Creations to host it if it meets the "acceptable amount of quality, design, and plot"

MESSAGE TO ALL - If you really want to know, I sorta rushed on the prologue cause I was tempted to get something out there. If you want, I can release another prologue for the Zerg or Terran, or fuck it, I can make prologues for all of them. Your choice.

Oh boy.

Yeah I'd cut that prologue map out of the campaign and play every campaign on CC before continuing.

LIKE I SAID, it wasn't anything close to the actual fucking campaign. C'mon dudes, you guys MUST realize that by now. You really think i would submit shit like that to CC? I would chew broken glass before i did that, I knew something was wrong...
