Come on guys, what's with the threads about terrible games? Haven't any of you played a good RPG or a good FPS before? Now, granted, the latter is a little hard to find, but if you know where to look you won't be disappointed. (obv I'm referring to Timesplitters)
Yeah, BioShock failed miserably in everything except magazine reviews and sales, the latter of which I supposed is the only thing that matters to marketers/publishers.
Oh, by all means, keep going. But I should advise you to actually read posts before you reply to them. It might make you look like someone who is not a complete idiot.
Bioshock was pretty good. Yeah, it is a bit overrated, but that doesn't make it terrible. That just makes it overrated.
I probably won't bother with Bioshock 2 until I can get it cheap, like a year or two from now. Playing as a big daddy doesn't really seem appealing to me. But I'm curious enough to see if they actually made any changes to how the game plays.

Bioshock's shooting was stiff and clunky, and the RPG elements were nonexistant. It's story was ripped directly form SS2. It failed at everything pretty much.
Video revealing the contents of the special edition of Bioshock 2. I'm more excited about the uber edition, though, and am saving up for it now. Makes Modern Warfare 2's goggles look simpleton.
Now, now we wouldn't want to forget the origin of the new Big Daddy Prototype.
