Re: StarCraft II Official! (Pictures)
No kidding, this StarCraft II icon on the support page is online since 2008.
Nice, that those "experts" from incgamers have finally found this, too. [imgwh 28x18]http://www.smilies.4-user.de/include/Fr ... ch_071.gif[/imgwh]

Re: StarCraft II Official! (Pictures)
HKS says it's possibly because of the lighting engine that doesn't allow AA. I don't normally use AA anyway, but it shows like a sore thumb on every single screenshot they post with something angular in it like terran or protoss or doodads.
If it does allow AA then they're being silly posting screenshots without it.

Blizzard is really rolling out the cards, now.

There's your beta sys requirements. They are astonishingly low, but I'll hold my reservations until I actually see it... wc3 and WoW's reqs are low as well, but both can easily cripple your computer.

That just goes to a "couldn't find any search results" page.
I couldn't find the requirements page, what is it under?

Awww, they removed it. Now I'm not sure how accurate those would have been.
Here's the specs they posted, but since they removed it, take it with a grain of anti-freeze -

Internet meet WoW http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/faq/technology.html
Proceed to /facedesk.
More specifically its a set of older WoW requirements, first thing that struck me as off was the 15gb space requirement when WoW is barely hitting that with 2 expansions.
PC System Requirements
OS:
Windows XP 32/64-Bit (Service pack 3)
Windows Vista 32/64-Bit (with the latest Service Packs)
Windows 7** 32/64-Bit (with the latest updates)
Processor:
Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+
Recommended: Dual-core processor, such as the Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2
Memory:
Minimum: 512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista users)
Recommended: 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista users)
Video:
Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better
Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better
Storage: 15 Gigabytes or more free hard drive space is required
Sound: DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability
** The exact hardware requirements for Windows 7 are still being calculated. Only retail versions of Windows 7 are supported.

Re: StarCraft II Official! (Pictures)
Well, everyone getting their hopes up that this was an indication they could run sc2 on their 10 year old pieces of shit are about to get TROUNCED.
I wouldn't be surprised if it still reached 15 gigs though.

Holy computer overload, Badman! 15 Gigas??? That's what I'd have planned for a Duality RPG, if I ever made one. I mean, c'mon, I know games today are large, but I thought it was 6 to 8 gigas tops!

At my request, Blizzard allocated an additional 9 gigs of storage space in the requirements for my Celestial Reverie campaign. Yes, you will be required to download Celestial Reverie in order to play StarCraft II.
