Oh crap, I didn't realize how I was becoming un-understandable, sorry. But yeah. Just consider which part of a quote you're actually gonna quote and then erase the rest.

Although, I should consider this......

It's exactly like it. It also looks like a cartoonish version of Starcraft. Don't get me wrong, I like that a lot! It's just a shame it doesn't seem to have that hard sci-fi edge to it anymore.

It's the lack of more "solid" shadows, subtle distance blurring, and the saturation (maybe color values even) level is ruining it all. Also, they should change the textures. Make them more natural. This one looks like paintery, like D3, and there's not enough detail added to the textures to make them "feel real".

The terrain textures are too goddamn blurry and low-rez, that's why it looks so weird. It's just like Dawn of War; high detail characters, utterly terrible terrain work.

Yeah, you're probably right. I've found every sc2 gameplay vid or screenshot I've seen so far to be weird-looking, but I could never put my finger on it. Now I know - it's the terrain.

In addition, though this must be that infamous development called "progress", I much prefer smaller characters too.

Apparently. Which begs the question. Aside from giving it a "fake realistic" look it, what was the big idea behind 3D? Isn't 3D, like, so 90s?
