I'm stuck in the *western district. I've destroyed both of the enemy bases, I've walked up to the door by the Alter, but I can't get in. I've noticed there was a tether thing behind the gate, so I did that, then tethered lower in a little stream, where there are two switches, but they aren't destroyable. And now I can't get out, because theres no tether on the outside of the gate. How to I beat this level? Where is Scaldar's egg thing?
What do I do? Is Kurumi supposed to be somewhere? I haven't seen her yet with Shizuka

Scaldar's "coocoon" is in the bottom right corner, near where Hikaru and Kurumi first enter the area. Additionally, it is also where Shizuka meets Lord Braddle in the opening cutscene for her part of this district, which sounds more like the West District than the East District.
