Anyone else excited....
... to hear that the Mar Sara Magistrate is still around? We haven't seen him since he saved Santa on Planet Christmas from the Zergrinch! w00t! I'm pumped to see what other magical adventures he and Raynor will share! Perhaps we shall be saving the Easter Bunny from rotten Easter eggs?

the @ccorg tweets said the Blizz CEO was confident that beta will come out this year.Krazy wrote: In other words, some people on b.net were saying that the Starcraft 2 beta was coming before the end of the year. Anyone heard anything about this?
A real translation of my above statement about the magistrate is "Are they going to take him seriously this time, or should we just expect to see him in Christmas maps? I honestly would like to know what really happened to him." But yes, beta stuff is good.

It appears like they killed another character... just like they killed the Cerebrate character from Episode II.

The @ccorg tweets say otherwise, good sir. I hope that, if they do decide to include him in something, they don't give him a stupid purpose. I wanna see some PCs in action! w00t!The Magistrate could still be out there

Ah, yes. No worries.Krazy wrote:thebrowncloud wrote:the @ccorg tweets said the Blizz CEO was confident that beta will come out this year.Krazy wrote: In other words, some people on b.net were saying that the Starcraft 2 beta was coming before the end of the year. Anyone heard anything about this?

Meant to say "in other news" not "in other words"... man I am spacing out lately
But anyway, Blizz (and especially Metzen) really loves to say that things "might" make an appearence. But it's not the kind of "maybe" that translates to "yes". It's a "maybe" that literally means "maybe". Hearing a whole bunch of stuff like that really makes me think the SC2 is a lot more of a WIP than it is. I've watched a few of the interviews that MedievalDragon had with him and there is so much brought up that Metzen reacts "Oh, that's a good question! We'll have to experiment with that, but maybe...." Idk, I just feel like Metzen still doesn't know all of what's going on with his universe. I'd like more "No comment" than "maybe."

Last BlizzCon, someone asked about Gilneas and how it was just.. Gone. Metzen replied "well, honestly, we forgot about it completely with everything else going on!" ... Next year: BAM.. Gilneas.
Final verdict: We cannot look to twist their words.

True, true. I just feel like some things wouldn't have made it in the game at all if Medievaldragon hadn't brought it up. But then that is me sort of interpretting his words myself. I shouldn't doubt their abilities. With all the time they take into making their games, I'm sure they think of everything at some point or another in the development.Lavarinth wrote: Last BlizzCon, someone asked about Gilneas and how it was just.. Or perhaps it is all just a scheme of theirs so they don't give anything away and make it seem like they forgot about it??? Damn, they're good!
