Runes like adding another arrow to multishot without a bonus for having X, Y, Z they didn't like how runewords worked in D2.

It looks awesome.

What character class was that?  I wish the Necro was in the game but that one looks like I might enjoy it...

I'm pretty sure it was the male Wizard, you can be either sex for every class.

Somehow, I kind of doubt it. The Witch Doctor is a summoner, so if they do add the necromancer they probably won't reveal him for quite a while.

But then again, D2 had Necros and Druids. Maybe the Witch Doctor is a Druid reflection and not a Necro. The big problem with Necros in diablo 2 was that their huge number of minions would actually overload battle.net and drop/lag people quite a lot. I don't see that as a problem in d3 with their new network framework, so I hope the necro does make a return.

It always lagged for me, but I thought it had more to do with my computer... it certainly lags less with my newer ones, compared to the old ones I used when D2 actually came out.  I just like the Necromancer concept.  I don't like being some diseased voodoo doll waving loon or whatever.

What, are you kidding? Bone wall was great to block people out of town when they try to run out to get their bodies. Or when doing baal runs and you trap everyone inside his spawning room and they get killed by lister.

Not when mindlessly spammed by fucking retards, also with bone wall, bone prison was pretty much useless.

Necromancers without Uber Golem or Super Poison Dagger were basically useless by Hell Act I anyway.  It was also usually the weakest in PvP, duels or otherwise, since any half-leveled spell could clear an entire screen's worth of skeletons.

Are you kidding, a geared bone necro can 1 or 2 shot most every character since it's pure magic, with BSpear at 5 or 6k.

Also I should point out that bone prison was actually pretty useful - in PvP.

Not everyone has enigma. Just mostly everyone. Putting one point into bone prison is enough.
