About Phoenix Phriday/Satyr Saturday potencial time changes

Note : This thread is also doubled as a thread for newbies to ask questions about the events and such. We do welcome new players.

Since I will be wide open free schedule-wise in 2 weeks, I am opening the discussion again for changes that might fit better for others' schedules. So like last time, feel free to tell how you would like it to be re-organized again if you prefer it otherwise.

However with these changes, I will still not put forth a Firebat Friday event since I no longer have any real interest to maintain a Starcraft event. Although you can suggest a schedule change in favor freeing up Friday for an unofficial Starcraft event or to avoid conflicts to whatever existent events that might be overlapsing (there might be only the Starcraft Team Fortress event).

It is still implied that the event will be on USWest (not USEast) and the meeting channel is Clan LLDN.

Every Friday at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (GMT -5) for about 3-4 hours of event time

Personally, I would prefer #3 like we were way back then although I won't mind #2 at all if it fits better others' schedules. Although now, they are more preferences of mine rather than necessary choices of mine.

You already talked about this a while ago and people voted on what to do. Why change it?  People wanted a friday event and no one stays for 6-7 hours besides shadowflare because shadowflare is a bot.

By hosting an hour later, you're just going to reduce the amount of time people have to play.

You already talked about this a while ago and people voted on what to do. Why change it?  People wanted a friday event and no one stays for 6-7 hours besides shadowflare because shadowflare is a bot.

The reason is mostly because back then, it was considerably changed in favor so I could play 2 hours per event instead of like 1 hour for a single event per week.

In addition, the SS single event way back then did last 4-5 hours in general so I thought quite a few might prefer to come back to that.

Also considering that some of us might change jobs, have different plans and so on, I felt it was necessary to bring the topic.

Well, I thought the hour later since I know it might fit better Lavarinth's schedule in addition that usually it wasn't that much of a problem to play until 3 am. Although I presume you guys now prefer less intensive but dual events of War3 per week.

Anyway, while it seems to be going towards a non-change, I am still keeping the discussion up for others that want to say something.

I might be as well double this thread for the recent newbies that wants to ask questions about the events since we are always open to have new players.

I'd rather have an event that goes on longer, mostly because mesk has my key and I'm usually out till like 1am eastern anyway. but then again shadow is on forever because she's a bot so its all good.
