You don't have a mod? Wow! All those special abilites are amazing, I was sure it was a mod. Do you use X-tra editor or scm draft or both? Or soemething else?Krazy wrote:Jim_Raynor wrote:Is that for real or are you just insulting me?Krazy wrote:Jim_Raynor wrote: Oh. Alright, I'll leave it as just a campaign then.
Yes! Go team campaign!
No additional downloads, no downgrades, just download and launch that stuff! YEAH! WHOO!
You have a mod. And quite a cool one at that.![]()
I don't have a mod... Everything my campaign has is 100% compatible with the most recent version of BW.

Nope, Jim', those abilities can be easily done with map editors.

Re: StarCraft: Reuniting
The whole thing? I thought I heard somewhere that the briefings didn't work in scmdraft2.Krazy wrote:Jim_Raynor wrote:

I've done almost every map so far in scmdraft2. The kill spell uses a mobile grid, the rest are pretty simple.
I do my maps in staredit, then patch it up in x-tra editor, and (if i need to) patch it up more in scmdraft2.
I want to use scmdraft2 as little as possible because it doesn't like me

It keeps telling me that:
So I gave up on it. No, I don't want a tutorial. I just don't like using scmdraft2.Soemthing bad happened, would you like to save a diagnostic file?

Also, Jim', if you're getting that error, just click save before you exit the program. Then, when you open your map, it'll be where you saved it from. Also, you're probably using an outdated version of scmdraft. Use this. http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/temp/Scmdraft2-setup.rar

I do have the newest version. I just don't care much for scmdraft2.Krazy wrote:Dem0nS1ayer wrote: Also, Jim', if you're getting that error, just click save before you exit the program. I still get it often with the newest version; I think it's usually related to not having a start location for one player when saving.
X-tra editor has most of those AI scripts I think, but terrain is much funner to play with in scmdraft2.
I love deleting units in scmdraft2... scream you little idiots.

Re: StarCraft: Reuniting
my fave character in this whole game is Ryuutn!
:-)
He is quite interesting, he has a moderate concept of Protoss honour it seems!

Re: StarCraft: Reuniting -- Completed
Update
Download!!
Click on that thingy and download the campaign!!!
Remember, the file size is HUGE.
I have tested it, it takes 40 minutes to download on a decent high speed connection. I'll make a lite version soon. Maybe a hard version?
After downloading, don't extract it right away, read the readme. It is in-depth, but it will tell you what to do.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Be patient. Many times you will have to wait a while before something finishes. (Dang music being too long.)
2. Protoss level three is a defending mission. Because of some things (including the length of the song) you will have to defend your base till the song ends. Then run around the area of your base (including outside it a bit) and kill all the zerg in the area. When the screen goes to a black area and text appears, do NOT click any more units. Just watch.
3. Zerg prologue has some sound issues. I can't fix it, don't ask me too.
Have fun!

Weelll... the mod is not completly scrapped. I might make one... later. It is no longer neccasary.Krazy wrote: So you did end up completely scrapping the mod?
Random comments as I play:
Why can you build a robotics support bay in mission 1 if you can build neither reavers nor upgrade shuttles?
Cool but weird: Once the victory trigger starts to play in mission 2, you can lose heroes, but will still get victory.
Robotics support: I thought it allowed more structures lol.
Well I could fix that, but if you lose the heroes in that time, wouldn't that be kinda mean to the player? Right about to win: Yah'zar has been killed. You have failed to achieve victory!
Also, my origanal post has been changed.
Edit: Alright, I'm gonna be gone for a week. Please send me PM's on what you think, I'll reply as soon as I can.

Re: StarCraft: Reuniting -- Completed
Set all heroes to invincible once the objectives have been achieved. or, if its a dialogue that doesnt require the player to see unit actions (i havent played it yet. still working on my own project) then u can center the player view wherever it needs to be and pause the gameJim_Raynor wrote:
