There was a tutorial on this, but it's been removed or taken down for whatever reason. http://wwww.campaigncreations.org/starcraft/resources/modding_tutorials?q=starcraft/stardraft/splash.shtml
I also ran several searches through the forums for anything on this but nobody's talking about it.
My custom splash screen isn't showing up. I haven't made one in years but I seem to remember having to include in the SEMPQ a color pallet for StarCraft to work with. But I've forgotten how to even extract the pallet from my graphic and I'm not even sure where to start.
So here's the symptom: Black screen. No Title graphic.
Possible causes: No pallet. I'm a moron.
Any ideas or help here would be greatly appreciated. I work with Photoshop CS3, so if it's not even possible to get the pallet from that, then kindly point me to some software and a tutorial on how to use it to this end.

Open the PCX in photoshop, and paste your new screen onto that thing? Worked for me.Archangel wrote: There was a tutorial on this, but it's been removed or taken down for whatever reason. http://wwww.campaigncreations.org/starcraft/resources/modding_tutorials?q=starcraft/stardraft/splash.shtml
