Wanderers of Sorceria Book 6 Released!
Wanderers of Sorceria Book 6 is now released. The Lord of Sorceria awaits your challenge.
When Warcraft 3 was released in 2003 Wanderers of Sorceria was one of the first custom campaigns available at the time, and now, six years later, the long journey is finally drawing to a close. When I initially planned out the entire campaign I thought I could finish the entire story within two years, yet the more I learned how to use the World Editor the more I felt compelled to challenge myself by creating something greater than what came before. In that manner each book starting from the first to the last successively became more sophisticated and technically superior. Whether or not I end up creating another campaign for Warcraft 3 or my next foray into customs ends up being with Starcraft 2, I can look back and know that I finally completed what began so long ago, and now it is your turn to follow through this story to its end.

Just spent most of my day playing through it. Very impressive, and by far the highest quality campaign of the series.
Due to the complexity of the storyline however, I would request that you have some sort of timeline and information on whats real/what's not/who's dreaming/who isn't. Stuff like that when it spans across 6 campaigns and many characters can sometimes get slightly confusing.

I think that a precise timeline can't exist in his campaigns, because the characters are actually in a sort of dreamworld.Whiplash! wrote: Just spent most of my day playing through it. Very impressive, and by far the highest quality campaign of the series.

Ya but some chars are dreaming and others aren't I guess I just want a bit more clarification on where everyone stands.Larc wrote:I think that a precise timeline can't exist in his campaigns, because the characters are actually in a sort of dreamworld.Whiplash! wrote: Just spent most of my day playing through it. Congratulations on making it to the end RCX, a magnificent accomplishment. Wanders of Sorceria, the complete campaign. Has a nice ring to it.

Oh my god, it's here!
I played the other books one or two years ago, but I won't bear playing them knowing I already have the sixth in my archive.
Great job with these series. This campaign came a long way. Congratulations, RazorclawX.

Just wanted to say wow. I recently got back into playing WC3 after a long 3-4 (was it 5? damn wc3 is old) year hiatus and I remember when I was 13 playing the first WoS. You've come a long way.
I replayed the whole campaign over the weekend and I'm still not done...
I don't really know what to say. I admire the tenacity you have -- I could never hold my attention on a project like this for so long... yet I think this campaign could use so much tweaking - especially how Zule/Six/Hikaru are developed (their characters feel forced), not to mention some of the lame tier trees for the races you get to play as... but it's still a satisfying and /long/ campaign. Redoing the 4 districts 3 times is growing tiresome, but I can't wait to see the end.
Hats off.
I don't know if you should release a WC campaign or not, but I'd love to see what you could do with the Starcraft universe. SC2's editor is supposed to unlock a lot of creative potential. See you there.
