I used to do a fair bit of messing around in Starcraft, and figured I might as well release the stuff I had lying around on my hard drive for >5 years. Don't expect anything really polished, as I made these mainly for my own amusement while watching the AI players fight each other, or just to see what was possible using iscript. These are in MPQ format. So here goes:
Zergling + Ultralisk Mod:
The Zergling was based off a screenshot I saw on CC years ago of "Pyrolings" with a flamethrower attack. This version uses the Firebat's weapon but is immensely more powerful, as it can hit up to 15 times in a cone-shaped area IIRC. (The Firebat hits up to 3 times.) Originally the Zergling had a Yamato charging overlay when hatched (which oddly enough immobilized the Zergling for the duration) but this causes a crash in the new(?) PC versions of Starcraft and the Mac OS versions (but oddly enough NOT the Mac OS 9 versions), so the overlay was removed. The ultralisk uses random spells for its attacks. I think I showed this to Alevice once.
Terran Weapons Mod:
Changes the weapons of all the Terran units. Some changes are relatively simple; others (such as the Battlecruiser) are more complicated. Try out everything, including the missile turret and the nuke.
More stuff as I find/get around to it.

Re: My old, minor mods
Heh, didn't get around to it for a while...
Charging Zergling:
This was a proof-of-concept for a unit I never managed to make: the Magnalisk. Said unit would most likely replace the Ultralisk, resemble the Defiler, attack with a long-range electric beam, and move by curling up and rolling. As it rolled it would pick up speed, and once it reached top speed it would fire an electric bolt at its follow/attack target when within range, then drop back to its original speed. In this test, the Zergling generates more smoke as it runs to indicate its "charging" level, then hits the target with a Kukulza (Mutalisk) shot when within range for 18 damage. The "charging" distance for the Zergling is very short, but it's a test after all. Also, it will fire at allied units it is told to follow (such as overlords loading them) because iscript can't determinine if the target is an enemy AFAIK.
Drunken Terrans:
This one is just for silliness' sake. It affects all Terran units but the SCV (made resources hard to gather), Goliath (it caused crashes), and Siege Tank (doesn't work for some reason). Order them to move, and they'll stagger around in circles. I used the "turn in random direction" function for this, but for some reason it turns to the right more often than left.
Sorry to rez the thread, but it made more sense than making a new one.
