But seriously, you should all do it.

Modern Algebra is so freaking cool. You get to work with groups, rings, fields, modules, vector spaces, algebras, infinite dimensional spaces, etc.

Check out this awesome book I attached.

lol this book has basically no formulæ, but it has lots of higher dimensional geometry, crystallography, representation theory, linear groups etc.

By the way, when I say crystallography, I mean classification of 3d and 2d natural geometric arrangements. This book explains why you can have wallpaper patterns with 1,2,3,4, or 6 rotations in them, but not 5. It's siiiiiiiick.

This. I've had some really good math teachers who helped me enjoy the subject, but they're always followed by teachers who suck the will to learn from you.

High school math teachers got paid to teach math. University math teachers get paid to do math. There is a huge difference in the level on interest in the subject and thus quality of teaching.
