btw, AA7, Tipereth's vote against CLDVII was the seventh, so CLDVII was practically already dead by then.  Milldawg just had not announced it yet.

Might as well come out and say it, I'm the Ghost. Unfortunately, I only investigated Mucky and AA7, and Mucky is dead. AA7 is innocent, though. AA7, not having enough info was an attempt to be much more subtle than Shadowflare. Seems like it didn't pay off. I read the thread yesterday and realized that I really only had the options of voting for CLDVII and not voting at all. Seems like you guys are bloodthirsty enough to find guilt in that.

Anyway, this claim can be easily proven with the help of the SCV. Unfortunately for me, that would mean the SCV exposing itself tomorrow. Tonight I will detect Arcan, assuming I'm still alive. I realize that if I were Infested, I could pretend to be the detective and name anyone as my 'innocent' targets of detection, but then the real detective would be able to call me on it and game over. But I am the real detective, as will likely be seen by what appears to be my imminent death.

I'm not voting this round, and you guys should rethink your cases against me.

Tipereth was out on a patrol mission when he noticed the smoking wreckage of a downed Wraith. He approached it cautiously, hoping perhaps to find some survivors. He heard a groan, and the pilot shifted in the cockpit. He rushed over to help, but just as he reached the Wraith, it EXPLODED, severely burning him and hurling him to the ground. Critically wounded, he dispatched an emergency distress beacon to his companions. When they finally arrived, they just stood over him. He cried for help, but they simply watched him die, convinced it was a trap to the very end. Tipereth, the Terran Ghost, has been lynched!

DAY BREAKS.

All was quiet in the Terran encampment. A guard on duty noticed some movement out of the corner of his eye, and he took out his binoculars. He saw mAc Chaos, back from a scouting expedition, running swiftly toward the camp. Suspecting he was rushing to report important news, the guard heaved open the gate. mAc Chaos charged through, ignoring the guard, and headed straight for the captain's tent. The puzzled guard just shrugged and closed the gate, but mAc Chaos continued running. As the guard turned around, he noticed tendrils protruding from mAc's back. As mAc neared the tent, his skin began to slip off, revealing a hideous carapace beneath. But before the guard could do anything, mAc Chaos, Infested Terran Parasite Dude, detonated himself in the captain's quarters!

There is only one word to describe this outcome. And that word is...

Raped.

Terrans win. GG.

mAc had parasited Arcan, the SCV, who scouted him that night. Thinking Arcan was the science vessel, he tried to make a POWER PLAY but failed.

I hand picked the roles for this game, by the way. Therefore everything is probably my fault.

I wasn't sure he was the Science Vessel.  I was half sure, thinking it was Thalraxal.  But any way I played out the scenarios, I would eventually die.  Sure, I'd pick off one more person, and maybe someone else would get lynched, but eventually everybody would just reveal their roles and I would be screwed.  So now I had Arcan, who had a chance of being the Science Vessel, targeting me at night.  If I didn't do it, I would've lost anyway.  If I did it and it succeeded, I would have won big.  So I had to do it.

That was just dumb luck and you know it.  I was SCOTT FREE.  There was more evidence to lynch Thalraxal and Lavarinth before anyone could come after me.

Heh, you did have a 50/50 chance of him being the science vessel, if you figured I was the medic, since the SCV and science vessel were the only others left with night actions.

btw, you were probably going to be the next one to be lynched anyway if you hadn't done that.  I was considering it, and I think AA7 was as well.  Murdermasterx said he was suspecting you or me.  If he suggested it was me, I was going to point out that my "Medic, eh?  Lynch DoW" post was to hint at that DoW was lying because I was real medic.  With those 3, just one more vote would have been needed.  Either Thalraxal or Lavarinth would be the deciding factor.
