Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
Since I'm actually in danger of being lynched (or is it shot?), I'd like to break silence and note that I'm the Medic. I'm the only one who can prevent the Zerg players from spreading their influence and letting me survive even for one round lets the Science Vessel (and the Marine) survive.

By the way, I voted for Arcan since he was the most vocal and pointing fingers which is the best you have to go in the first day. Like AA7 said, we have the advantage against the Zerg and the Medic makes sure they can't kill by voting.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! DAY ONE
The crowd has spoken. DrumsofWar's entrails are ripped out and tied around his face, suffocating him as he bleeds to death. As he twitches in his final death throes, larvae begin to squirm out of his innards. They are quickly destroyed. DrumsofWar, the Infested Terran Broodling Spawner, has been lynched.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! NIGHT ONE
I feel I should clarify a few things about the roles that may have been overlooked.
THE MARINE ONLY HAS ONE SHOT THE ENTIRE GAME. He has already used it. Murdermasterx is now basically just a civilian (albeit a revealed one).
THE FIREBAT IS USELESS NOW. Since DoW died, there will be no broodlings, so the Firebat is now basically just a civilian, and can't kill broodlings to prove his/her innocence.
BROODLINGS DIE AT THE END OF THE DAY. This is no longer relevant since DoW is dead, but some people seemed confused about this. If broodlings do spawn, they spawn for that day only, and then die at night. The zerg can't amass multiple broodlings.
If anything else is unclear, bring it to my attention and I will clarify. (But not by posting during the night.)

DAY BREAKS
As Mucky was enjoying a delicious cup of coffee, he heard a strange humming sound. He couldn't tell where it was coming from so he got up and began to look around. Suddenly some people leaped out from behind a cactus and SHOT HIM IN THE FACE! But the bullets glanced off, falling harmlessly to the floor! Terrified, the criminals scampered away before Mucky could identify them. Mucky was targeted by the Zerg, but protected by the Science Vessel!
Day two begins. With 10 alive, it's 6 votes to lynch.

OWNED
I guess it was because I was the first to vote for DoW that the Zerg concluded that I need to die. Fortunately, an anonymous entity has concluded that I need to live.
The logical thing to do now is take a look at who voted for whom, and when.
VICTIM <---- VOTER
Arcan <---- CDLVII, DrumsofWar
DrumsofWar <---- Arcan, mAc Chaos, Mucky, Murdermasterx, Thalraxal, ShadowFlare
Lavarinth <---- tipereth
Lavarinth and AA7 didn't vote.
Well, after skimming through, I can summarize what happened:
People started voting for Aekenon. Aekenon suspects Oopyman and votes for him. Oopyman shoots Aekenon, breaking all votes for him. Every vote cast after that point was for DoW, except for Arcan who voted for SF at first and then switched to DoW. This means that the Arcan and Lavarinth voters did not previously vote for Aekenon.
Basically, I've got nothing. This isn't enough to cast guilt on anyone right now. I suppose the two non-voters will explain themselves, considering that it was explicitly stated that everyone had to vote.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! NIGHT ONE
Actually, I just finished reviewing the older pages. AA7 and Lavarinth as well as mAc, ShadowFlare, and myself voted for Aekenon. Oopyman voted for mAc. Thalraxal voted for Arcan. Arcan voted for Oopyman. Tipereth voted for Aekenon and then changed his vote to Lavarinth. This was all before Aekenon died, obviously.
Still doesn't really intimate anything, though.

Perhaps they just wanted to get you out of the way? Let's face it, you're typically a first target, and it's kind of relieving to learn that you aren't a mafia.

Re: MAFIA IX - Terran/Zerg Mafia! NIGHT ONE
The only person who didn't vote was AA7, and I'm sure this game isn't on the forefront of his thoughts at this time. Scroll back a page or two, and you'll see that Milldawg acknowledges Lavarinth's defunct vote.
Mucky hasn't given us anything we don't know, but right now out of the 12 total, 8 are unknown (including myself), 4 (if not entirely, then slightly) revealed: DoW, Aekenon, Murdermasterx, and Mucky. Of those four, two are dead. I'd say our odds are fairly high of winning this. I have my own "chart" going of suspicions, as well as my own role to play, and I think I'll go ahead and start this day by voting to lynch CDLVII and see where that takes me.

By the way, we live in a strange world where lynching someone involves forcing them to eat their own entrails:
And yet our most feared enemy, the Zerg, using humming noises and hiding behind cacti in order to assassinate people:Milldawg wrote: DrumsofWar's entrails are ripped out and tied around his face, suffocating him as he bleeds to death.

When a Terran is infested, he loses sentience. They become violent beings; mere shells of their former selves. That's why there's nothing wrong with what we did.

That's like saying, "Thank god that person turned out to be a serial killer, because I just set them on fire and tore out their kidneys." We didn't know he was an Infested Terran until after the fact.

What if that's the only way, Arcan? What if the only way to see peace again is to tear our foes limb from limb and force them to devour their own inner organs? Would you refrain based on some obscure code of self-righteousness, or would you become the evil that slew the greater evil?

Oh I forgot to mention the humming noise was actually the defense matrix.
Also, I didn't explicitly say everyone had to vote, I just said there's no voting to abstain or voting no-lynch.
