I would like them more if they kept the same blade size from SC1, instead we have one that is smaller than the what the Zealot has duals of currently.

Interceptors look like flying binoculars.  :P Also, is that green thing on the BC a possible sign that Defensive Matrix is back in the game? :D

And WTF, those centipedes look great. They seem to be doodads, as two can be seen climbing the walls in the Jungle screenshot. They also lack team colour.

There is also a 'vote for your favorite dark templar' with some pretty interesting portraits and animations;

I have a strong feeling that 'Both' is going to be the majority vote and Blizzard already knows this.  They are probably just throwing a piece of meat to the ravenous fan base.

This is too hard to decide.  I'd like both, but I don't want two confusing animations for the same unit in the middle of battle.  I like 1's portrait better and the traditional garb of the DT, but 2 seems to offer something more as a whole unit.

Doack!  Vote for me.  What's the best choice for the development of the game?

#1 all the way. Both was tempting, until I thought more about it. The Dark Templar is an assassin. One big-ass blade of energy and cloak feels far more appropriate to that role than a bunch of clanking armor and an unwieldly dual-scythe that looks like it'd poke the DT in the back while running. Having multiple unit models might get visually confusing in the heat of battle, especially for newer players.

I'd rather see the dual-scythe model used as more of an elite guard for Zeratul or something. The armor would feel more appropriate then.

Yow! Most of those shots are intense!

I'm not voting on which Templar is better by the way.

Number 1 all the way.

Was it really necessary to quote the entire picture post? Seriously it takes all of 5 seconds to just delete all the links jesus FUCK.

I really love it when people quote enormous posts just to say one or two lines. I also really love vans, lawyers, elevators, stairs, small towns, hospitals, subways, and water.

Anyway, I voted for option 1. Like Hercanic said, Dark Templar are supposed to be assassins, and a single blade and cloak fit that role quite well. A scythe is actually a terrible weapon in reality, not to mention that there's nothing stealthy about it.

The dark templar in Starcraft 2 should wield giant warp blade scissors.

I want my classic Dark Templar Flavour back.  #1 all the way.

But as long as we get both Dark Templar models in the editor, I'm happy!

Well, I appreciate the fact that they're trying to flesh out and diversify the Dark Templar more, what with the background and the two units and all.  I personally also prefer the traditional DT unit over the twin scythe one, though I find the portrait for the scythe one to look better than the traditional look.  I expect most to vote for both anyways, though I do see the second DT as a new or special kind of DT unit rather than a graphical swap.  It just has a certain heavy set elite look to it.
