Hah, Blizzard has learned the value of minigames - even some TFT official maps back in the day had a few of them, if you guys remember. I really look forward to playing the official campaigns: my expectations are also high this time around. With more cutscenes, more missions and many more unique maps, I expect Blizzard to set quite a high standard for SC2.
I expect the factions in SC2 to be given much better characterization this time as well, like, for example, the blood elves in the WC3 expansion campaign, who had their own footmen, workers and such. Thus, I expect different Protoss tribes and Terran militia/government forces to actually have their own specialized units in SC2.
This reminds me of the Command and Conquer Red Alert games that I played. They let you choose between certain nations to play with. It's been sometime since I played them but I don't think they really distinguished too much between the units other than color and a specialized unit each nation had in their inventory. But definitely, I'd also like to see more visually unique factions with their own footmen and such. Maybe it'll come to the point where each unit has a randomized skin. Just got to keep in mind ease of unit type recognition for the player.
I was amazed at seeing the amount of customized units for the campaign in WC3. It makes playing the campaign more intimate because you would only see a certain group of them within the campaign. I'm hoping a lot more of custom campaign units would pop up in SC2 like WC3.

I love the fact that they are finally going to go beyond the normal build and destroy formula and go with the 'unique gameplay' formula. I mean when you think about it, the triggering for this kind of stuff isn't too hard, especially for Blizzard. I'm glad to see that they are finally putting more into their map design, and this is a whole lot more. I'm anxious to see what they come up with.
Its about damn time. The mapping community has been doing that for years.
Now with 50% more lol, 50% more win, and 100% phlail.

No kidding. Even being an RTS, I can only do so many 'traditional' missions for so long in a campaign before I eventually need something fresh. And I like the lighting, ambience, and the new look Thor quite alot. And the Banshee is now SC2's version of LOTC2's Spectre, you say? ;p

They really need to update their unit section, it would be really nice to read some info on some of the new units, especially the ones that aren't gonna be scrapped.
Wings of Liberty preview, mild Q and A that is mostly just common sense stuff we could of assumed anyways.
Nice to see some more stuff from the campaign side of things again (that first screenshot with the Battlecrusier is the first time we've seen a transmission window since the game was announced!).
Well, glad to see a clearer picture of the Hyperion, even though it's essentially like all the other Battlecruisers in the game graphics-wise. Otherwise, yeah, other than specifically mentioning the upgrade interface receiving an overhaul, there really isn't anything that no one else hasn't heard before.
