With university coming forth and the beginning of my official adult life, it was time to leave the world of privilege behind and face reality. Like Mesk did told me once at DeviantArt, if I didn't master the art of 3ds Max, I wouldn't go nowhere. Duality would only exist in the Microsoft Word program forever. I decided to get on my feet and try another shot, if I wanted Gaius Octavian to come to life and be proud of me, his creator.

In my bid for designing the sacred Geodosian ships, I've made without warning the Quantum Star, a supposed ship for a freak-like ITAS-inspired universe of my own. But then, the second half of the monster came to hound me: Texturing. That's when I was about to quit again. Somehow, either by a miracle or an unforgiving sense of willpower I didn't knew it was stored inside me, I didn't quit. Instead I went to searching texture tutorials, but all of them involved the greatest of all godlike challenges: the Unwrap UVW. I stored enough patiece and sacrificed hours of scripting and amusement to master the challenge. But then, SgtHK set up his Leg Tutorials in DeviantArt and I decided to take a peek. When I learned of the Falloff procedures and how to blend texture materials, I then went without my knowledge to a funny and useless thing: Making Tank Tracks. I've used both knowledges together, and used my patience and a lot of time in Photoshop to do some pleasant result. For weeks I've suffered to do something in my life, something different. Now, behold:

The fight isn't over however. It never is. I'll need to do more than tracks to achieve the greater level of perfection Sgt has. I'll need to make entire vehicles, spaceships, another types of objects, whatever it takes for me to continue perfecting my skills at 3ds Max and Photoshop. But, at looking just at this and find it beautiful myself scores a point for me. A victory for me in a long road. Small, indeed... but, still, a victory.
P.S: Excuse the incomplete image.
