Re: MAFIA VII - PROTOSS MAFIA
Isn't that Warcraft?
I need to be the DARK ARCHON manipulating everything behind the scenes.

[19:27:26] 118626378: also protoss all communicate telepathically whether they want ot or not so theyd know instantly
[19:27:30] Jonny Milldawg: yeah so SHUT UP
So this is in an alternate fictional universe where they don't.

Re: MAFIA VII - PROTOSS MAFIA
I don't think that's true anyway. Otherwise they wouldn't have been so utterly oblivious to Raszagal. ...Nor would there be any need for any of those briefing sessions. Ho hum.

Re: MAFIA VII - PROTOSS MAFIA
I assume those are telepathic communications. They don't have mouths, you know.
Raszagal was a Dark Templar, so she couldn't tap into the communal link Protoss share. That's why they cut all their nerve endings off. So a Dark Templar would be able to shield himself, but other Protoss would know right off someone was dead, and if the detective knew something he could just broadcast it to all the right people. Although you could say someone who's skilled could "shield" his thoughts.

With 11 players, that means we can have more roles than expected. There will be THREE Dark Templar, TWO Observers, TWO Arbiters, and FOUR Zealots. This also means there will be a SLIGHT RULES CHANGE: The Dark Templar can kill 2 targets per night as long as there are three of them alive. They should still consult on kills and come to an agreement, then all of them should PM me all targets.
---------------------
As night falls on Eridun, shapes flit about in the night performing deeds of good and evil. Who knows what secrets shall be revealed, or what fate shall befall its peaceful guardians? Only the dawn will bring light...
---------------------
When you receive your role, if you aren't a Zealot, PM me your night actions. The Dark Templar should confer on targets, but the Observers and Arbiters work alone. Arbiters remember: YOU MAY CLOAK YOURSELF. You can tell me your actions over AIM if you wish, just make sure I have received them. I won't set time limits yet, but please try not to take too long to get back to me or I will have to enforce a time limit. EN TARO ADUN!

^ En taro Adun, Executor! I hear there are Dark Templar committing deeds most grievous in Eridun! We must be cautious!
I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.

En taro Tassadar. I do not know how Negi could be accusing someone already. We must simply wait until the morning.

Re: MAFIA VII - PROTOSS MAFIA
As the denizens of Eridun awaken, terrified and shaken from a sleepless night, the militia captain reports the night's events.
There have been many strangers in Eridun lately, and a lot of them have begun to set up campsites on the outskirts of the town. These camps have been the target of a lot of suspicion and activity due to the recent killings, and tonight was no exception. The captain reports that a group of shadowy figures came searching for the whereabouts of Aekenon, but they could not find him! He may have been cloaked by an Arbiter, saving him from a quite probably grisly fate. The captain reports that the same dark figures were heard searching for Negi but he too must have been hiding in the cloak of an Arbiter! The inhabitants of Eridun breathe a sigh of relief as no corpses are found.
As day breaks, the citizens of Eridun convene to hold a town meeting. Who are the dark figures stalking the night? What cruelty could lead them to disrupt the peace of Eridun?
Day breaks. Discuss the night's events, and post your final lynch votes in boldface. See the first post for other voting regulations.
