Yar, remember that the voice 'o god said that thar be between 0-2 detectives. Thar be a chance that we all be runnin' blind here.
Lav be a wee bit too bloodthirsty. Sendin' anyone to walk the plank at the crack o' dawn aint to me liking. Too early fer a lynchin'. But thar be also be a chance that Lav be knowin' more than we be knowin'. If'n Lav be the detective, maybe he detected a mafioso. But he also pointed the gun at Zilla-, and always been tryin' to get us to keel haul Milldawg. Not good fer the case of 'im bein' a detective.
I be watchin' Lav and Mill, I think that they both be somethin', and we should be lookin' at makin' one o' them go to Davey Jones' locker before the sun sets.

Are you a... pirate now? Interesting. I'll, uhm... add that to my notes.
Hm. Anyway, I can't help but agree with this salty sailor about you, Lavarinth. I want to trust you, but you have been a bit... ah, bloodthirsty, as he said. You've been quick to agree with everyone's suspicions, and have even come up with a few of your own out of nowhere. And seriously, what was with that comment about lynching Milldawg at sunrise?
I'd like to hear what you have to say.

So, I've been trying to make sense of this since reading Ricky's post this morning... Tell me what you guys think.
Why was RCCola chosen? Of all the other people, doesn't it seem a little weird that the least spoken to figuring out the Mafia was chosen to die? And then Zilla was hit. He may or may not have been Mafia, but I'm starting to wonder if there's a mastermind here.
You're right, Lavarinth has been quick to call for deaths. I looked back to his post history, and I found this:
Lavarinth to RCCola August 2, 2008:

Lavarinth to Zilla August 2, 2008:"No.
If ANY of you make another stupid post in this thread, I'm locking it. *Cracks down on stupidity.*"
Obviously, there's an underlining grudge here from past threads. Lavarinth called for Zilla's death (could still be Mafia to play a suicidal cover-up) and then took out RCCola because of how annoying he was back when Lavarinth was cracking down on the spam we had here last month. With only the favored veterans left, we're next. And last I checked, I was Lavarinth's favorite and pseudo-boyfriend. I don't want to be the next one!NO YOU BEAT ME TO IT GOD I HATE YOU YOU ASSHOLE!
I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.

^ So when the heat is put on Lavarinth, suddenly his tone changes? First, he's calling out everyone's death, and now he's calm saying, "trust me" and "I'm here to help?"
I don't believe you Lav. At first I had my suspicions about Aekenon, but now I'm beginning to think Lavarinth is the real mafioso. Your behavior egging us all on and those who have died so far link you too closely to the murders.
I motion to put a vote against Lavarinth

I'm not being too deep in my analysis, Milldawg. It makes sense. Unless you're trying to protect him?AA7> I think you're getting a litttttle too deep in your analysis here.

Re: Game : MAFIA VI - Reaper's Pleasure
At this rate, it's not looking too good for you, Lavarinth. Your actions seem by far the most mysterious and... well, just a tad random. I was hoping you'd come up with an explanation for your behavior, but instead all we get is "I'm here to help you all, trust me." No insight into your logic or anything. Just a vague phrase that weakly suggests you're a detective. It actually makes you look worse, I must say.
I'm not satisfied enough to put up a vote yet, but I won't lie to you: I have more reason to suspect you than any of the others. Please, my friend. If you're innocent, you need to convince me of it now!

Re: Game : MAFIA VI - Reaper's Pleasure
I shall put it simply. None of accusations have been random. And again, I'm here to help you. I'll put it you like L put it to Light in Death Note:
Light: "How can I convince you that I am not Kira (Killer)?"
L: "If you are not Kira, you have no need to explain anything."
So I have not chosen to explain myself at any point to prevent saying something that will be used against me. I'm here to save you, not kill you.

Re: Game : MAFIA VI - Reaper's Pleasure
Bah... I'm far too trusting.
As it happens, I'm considering voting for lynching nobody today. Whether that's irresponsible or not, I can't decide. There's no real evidence against anyone here, so chances are we'll hang an innocent person. On the other hand, it may not be wise to pass up an opportunity to kill a Mafioso before they can strike again.
EDIT (instead of posting twice):
I've made up my mind. I don't know what could come of this, but I can't in good conscience vote to kill anyone of whom I only barely suspect of wrong-doing. My vote is for no lynching!

Since it has been a while and it doesn't seem to end for this game day, I will enforce a game day ending for Wednesday, 22th September (early morning of Eastern Time) so that someone gets lynched (or not) and then night falls.

Re: Game : MAFIA VI - Reaper's Pleasure
From my experience in past games, stalling usually just makes the game drag on and helps the mafia since it gives them another chance to kill without getting one of them first. True, it gives the detective the chance to investigate more (if he's still alive, that is), but that can be just as dangerous. And as far as evidence goes, it's ALWAYS hard to get "concrete" evidence in this game. All we CAN act on are suspicions and assumptions; even saying "I'm the detective" is suspect since the mafia can do that. And that, I think, is just what Lavarinth is trying to do. So I'm going to have to vote to lynch Lavarinth. FOR THE LIGHT!

Re: Game : MAFIA VI - Reaper's Pleasure
Milldawg's right, not lynching anyone is giving up a chance to stop the mafia once and for all. On the same hand, Aeks is right, we risk lynching someone who isn't a mafioso and just suspicious as hell would be helping the mafia...
So, there's only one solution here:
Lynch Milldawg!
